Philosophy 101🤓 …..Is a tree really green? Seriously – is it? Is a tree really green or does it just have the potential to be green.🤔 Is a tree just standing there in the dark full of all the abilities to be green yet not able to able to… idk ‘express’ its …greenness? Just standing there waiting…waiting…waiting for the sun. Until fiiiinally the sun begins to peek over the horizon line…but the tree is still standing in the dark valley below….waiting all black and somber. And the suns climbs and climbs and climbs until its light shines allllll the way down in the valley and the tree begins to change into this gorgeous GREEN leafy beauty. And right before our eyes a metamorphosis takes place. We just sit and watch in amazement at the way the light dances on the green, green leaves. How light streams through its branches, sunbeams dapple all the twiggy splendor of that tree. The wind comes along and together the gentle breeze and rays of the bright sun turn that tree into a brilliant display of LIFE!🌳🍃🌴🌿 Idk…but I think maybe that’s the way it is I think we are kinda like that. The Creator has placed within us all these abilities to fulfill the purpose for which He has formed us, but we are just standing there in the dark until He comes and lights us up, and suddenly all those abilities come to life. And then it’s like WOW! Look how amazing! Look at that person change from this drab colorless useless waste into a walking, talking expression of LIFE! So many ppl are wasting away in this world. Wasting away in anger, fear, depression, anxiety, arrogance, confusion, pride, stubbornness…you name it! Their life is meant for greater things! Oh, such greater things! We long to see the light break through their darkness. To see the Light and the Ruach come and change them into a marvelous display of His Life!🙌🏼 Oh, what will take for these people we are praying for? Sigh…I don’t know. I really don’t….but we just keep praying don’t we? We just keep praying bc we know if He could change us…if He could totally transform us as He has and is continuing to do, well then….what else can we say, but I can’t WAIT to see their dawn….🌄☀️ #thingsithinkabout #howmymindworks
