2016 LECTURE: Slavoj Zizek “How to Rebel”
Zizek discusses the tropes of capitalism, communism, and the failing political state. As usual he makes several references to films, Alain Badou, and U.S. politics. It is an engrossing lecture for a Zizek fan, but a newbie will be bored and perplexed. Zizek does not repeat his usual points already outlined in his books, but discusses the state of politics and culture today. “Even capitalism can be used against capitalism.”
