HOOOOOO BOI I’VE BEEN WORKING ON THIS SINCE THURSDAY
I struggled with the pose and anatomy so I used a 3D model :P
Now then, onto some background info. I chose Bori as The Magician because the reversed card speaks true to how willing she is to lie and manipulate to get what she wants, or get herself out of trouble. I mean, she lied to her twin about her involvement with the vaults for two years, and it was by chance that Lyubomira found out in the first place (she still knew something was up, and the trust between them really deteriorated during that time).
Lying makes me think about spiders, so I added the white lines on her arms, torso and belt to resemble webs (of l i e s). This is perfect for Bori, not only because she’s a spider animagus but because of the Forest Vault being guarded by an Acromantula; the Sleepwalking Curse really messed with her Seer abilities as they’re most active while she’s dreaming, and she’d get trapped in the dream world until she realised she was dreaming. She would sometimes stay in a coma for days on end because of it, and she spent most of her time in the Hospital Wing. This meant she couldn’t go and break the curse, so Lyubka steps in and works with their friends to break the curse, because she prioritises her family over just about anything. That helped their relationship a bit at least.
On the plus side, the curse increased the probability of her getting prophetic dreams as she was dreaming for longer periods of time, and one of them was of Rowan dying in the Forbidden Forest (she didn’t see who did it due to the darkness and the flashes of magic), so she was later able to prevent that from happening. She never really drifted from Rowan as she didn’t make many other friends and stuck with them, and after that dream she vowed to keep a close eye on them.
