At Buckingham, with so many royals around each with an array diverse connections, choosing not having breakfast in one’s chambers was often a gamble - the table might be large, but you never know who you will end up sharing with it. Carlota didn’t regret coming down for the first meal of the day ( she had been spending an unusual amount of time in her room already ), but now that she was sitting there, with Callista and Tomás, their phones buzzing every other minute with notifications from the red queen ( who seemed to be having a filled day ), she was struggling not to want to leave. Callista was predictably unpredictable and Carlota didn’t trust her or felt comfortable around her, and Tomás... she could never feel uncomfortable around him or have an issue with his company ( hell, she missed it, deeply ) but... well, Tommy was Tommy. Still, she had smiled and made conversation until the buzzing was impossible to ignore. Grabbing her phone, Carlota barely glanced at it. “There’s more than one now?” She supposed that was a better alternative to having five different gossip blogs around. Muting her phone she set it on the table again, screen facing down. Normally she would have left the device in her room, but these days she only parted from it when she really had to ( or when her forgetfulness got to the best of her ), just in case there were any news from her brother. “How has no one found a way to shut this blog down yet?”
