it's still karkat tbh i will always be very fond of him even if i haven't drawn him in a long while oop. i really like to draw june too!!

25. Fave pesterlog?

it has been soooo long since ive read homestuck (i am due for a reread and have been for a while) but i have a few that have still stuck with me as endearing or funny.

i also am rly fond of the deltritan kids from hsbc's pesterlogs i think theyre rly charming (cc is my favorite there, i see and have lived the life of an adolescent fujo rper to transmasc pipeline growing up in the lolz so random era)

26. Fave flash?

Make her pay or Synchronize. always thought the sequencing for those two were always really fun and satisfying. 5x SHOWDOWN COMBO is also close, i just rly like the vibes with the music (maybe also ye olde gamkar bias speaking to me like the green goblin mask).

78. What are your unpopular opinions?

DONT KILL ME FOR THIS but i liked karkat and dave's individual agency and direction as characters before they became a couple and i was really disappointed with how karkat was put aside in the latter parts of homestuck. romance in general in homestuck has always felt lackluster to me in comparison to its other narratives that it does really well

When did you start reading Homestuck? / 2. What made you want to check it out?

summer 2011! i was fresh out of school, had time on my hands, saw gamzee killing everybody on tumblr and was like "wait they kill each other in this thing?" and started reading bc i was nosey and wanted to know why was this clown killing everybody. i caught up just before cascade dropped and crashed everything.

3. Had you heard about Homestuck prior to reading it?

yes, i was on tumblr since likeee 2009. it was that weird comic with the candy corn people that took over my dashboard all the time. and then i had to make a whole separate account for it after i started reading it LOL

5. Has Homestuck influenced you in any way?

(looks at my art, my characters, my friends, my job) hmmmmm

8. How long did it take you to read Homestuck? Have you read it in its entirety?

catching up to where it was updated back in 2011 was pretty quick. then i had to wait through all the megapauses/gigapauses. and then i had taken a break away from it during the gigapause and genuinely hadn't checked back in until like 2018 when friendsim started so it took me a while to actually complete it tbh. i am due for a full reread

13. Fave alpha kid?

split between roxy and dirk. i find dirk fascinating but roxy is just so likable

i haven't read homestuck fic in like a bajillion years so i can't answer on that end. artists: kimquatz, choombie, hamsterdads, HONE, cata_dioptric, odang… to name a few!

my story with my tealblood ocs is something I've been simmering on for the past few years but i don't have it in a consumable format and likely won't for a good while. if you count merch as projects, i do that all the time (and hopefully will have new stuff before the end of this year)

99. How normal are you about Homestuck?

i like to think that i'm a pretty normal guy but i do think about it every day and half a lot of ocs for it and also it's a part of my job making fanmerch and well

100. Will Homestuck stay somewhere inside you forever and ever wherever you go?

i have been in this fandom since like 2011 and it's now halfway thru 2026, i don't think it'll be going anywhere for me

72. What's something you like about the fandom?

passion!!! despite the infamy the homestuck fandom has accrued over the years, i don't think people can discount the fact that it has lasted this long, especially in a time where ive seen fandoms come and go within the span of months, because people feel very passionately about homestuck

73. What's something you dislike about the fandom?

on the flip sideeee i think because people feel passionately about homestuck, that it can foster a volatile environment. because people feel so strongly about their own ideas about the series and its characters, if there's any friction against that, from other fans or from official works, et cetera, it's prone to imploding into fights or other scary situations that could otherwise be easily avoided

Ooh that's an interesting one! I honestly like almost every spriteset, but I think the 'best' in my eyes would have to go to Terezi or Roxy. They're the only sprites that I feel made a change to how the characters are presented compared to the comic that wholly elevates the design for me. I love the personality in their sprites as well, and Roxy's maya ace attorney ass pose is funny The worst would probably have to go to Sollux, just because his hair upsets me as a baseline and the sprites did not make it better lmao honorable mention to Karkat I love his angry ass eyes
