If they had to run away together tomorrow, where would they go?
If they had to run away, they'd just... go. Legend does get antsy now and again and he misses the freedom of the open road. Hyrule has never gotten to explore his wanderlust because he's been so goal-oriented and focused on survival. I think the two of them would just pack their bags and head on out the door with no firm plans at all. Maybe a backpacking trip across name-a-region. I don't know that it's so much about the destination for them, but the journey.
What's the biggest risk that A took for B that B didn't find out about until later?
Hands-down, it was the risk Hyrule took taking Legend in after the events of Koholint. Here he finds this waterlogged homeless kid who may or may not be a drug addict, who may or may not be a threat to Hyrule's safety, and Hyrule still knows that he can't turn his back and leave Legend behind without regretting it for the rest of his life. At some point, Legend may not "find out about" the reality of the situation but he will eventually realize what an incredible gesture and show of trust that was for Rulie.
If one of them had to leave forever, what would they leave behind for the other?
Assuming this isn't a "disappears in the middle of the night" situation, because neither of them could handle that from the other, Legend would leave some wearable memento, like a ring or a charm for a necklace, to offer Hyrule protection.
Rulie would leave a hole in Legend's heart and nothing more.
