You look at Chara as you muse over her words.

Introducing Chara to the fray! Yet another child added into the family. For this story, I will use she/her pronouns for Chara and she identifies as female. I do love my non-binary and male Chara's, y'all are valid too! These doodles are waaaay later in the story when we've got the fam intorduced and we get sibling bonding time!

Chara is roughly 14-16 years old physically (does that count for spirits? eh-) and is incorporeal, meaning she can't touch or be touched by anything unless it's with magic.

Chara and Aliza get along like a house on fire, once they get past the awkward attachment issues barrier. Living in a universe where all your loved ones left you one way or another will do that to you :(

Chisk adores Chara, especially since they play with them using Mr. Fluffikins. At first Chara was vary of them, as they had been too close of a reminder to her timeline's F̶̧̖͔͂̇͘r̴̢̖̺̅͒̏ì̴̱͖̝͙s̴̨̟̳̪̜̈́͘k̵̛̘͖̀̓͛̚ and even shared the same naivety of A̵̧̹̓z̷̧̜̈́͘z̶͍̗͋̍̕y̷̼̒͒, the little scamp eventually won her over. She took them under her wing in a "guess you're my sibling now" type beat.

I hate to use the term "tsundere" but Chara is very much a tough-love type of person. She may appear uncaring and even a bit self-important at times, but cares very deeply to those who are close to her. Sucker for cute things, but still very tom-boyish and rugged. Eats dirt-

You (or y/n - the reader) love to sing, something you've always had a knack for but started doing more frequently to help Chisk calm down when they get spooked or have nightmares. Chara won't admit it, but it reminds her about when T̶̳͑o̴̫̽ṟ̷́ỉ̸͔e̴͜͠l̵͉͐ would sing to her and Â̸̦s̴̱͐r̷̛̩i̶̧̇e̸̡͐l̷̹̚ when they were younger. It isn't uncommon for you to be singing, whether to yourself or the youngest kiddo, and feel the gentle pressure of Chara rested on your head. You opt not to say anything, enjoy the gentle sigh that comes out from her as you carry the tune.

**SPOILER** Chara is only able to exist if they attach themself to someone with a powerful soul, much like how in the "Original" undertale universe Chara follows Frisk around due to their high level of determination. Due to you being a mage, they have more enough magic (that is a gross understatement >:) ) to sustain Chara's form.

Unexpected Encounter...?

Two children stand in front of you, the older of the two looking up in an almost defiant manner. The shorter child, brows furrowed in worry, clutches onto a pink stitched up rabbit.

You decide to 'CHECK' the children in front of you.

You blink, reading over the summaries once more. Perhaps you are more tired than you thought, there was no way these kids were from entirely different timeliness.

Heeeeeey all! Got another story idea that has been eating away at my noggin! Drew this up a while ago on my old phone, sorry for the grittiness. This was a first pass at what I thought could  be the introduction scene to Aliza and Chisk in this story. More info on the concept will be under the cut, along with the solid colors for this piece :p

Now some (very) rough ideas for this story!

Story’s POV is from you (the reader), a mage who has found themself trapped within the clutches of the multiverse and all that comes with it. How exciting for you! Without spoiling too much, you have an ability which lets you travel through the multiverse in a somewhat safe way.

Basically turns into “How many children can I adopt across dimensions while avoiding baddies?” with the slightest chance of smooching skeletons on the side? ((I’ll be honest, it started as skele smooches but then jumped to full on found family plot and I ain’t even that mad))

Also Dadster Gaster might be there? I have 2 documents typed up for this story; one has Dadster in it and other other does not, each with varying layers of angst and inner turmoil laced into each paragraph >:]

Chisk’s stuffed rabbit is named “Mr. Fluffikins.” They will talk through him at times, but mostly just use him as a comfort item. Chisk is mostly nonverbal, using a mixture of signed language and noises to communicate.

This Aliza is a bit more closed off and cautious than the normal Aliza, having been through several “deaths” in their timeline. Attachment issues out the wazoo for this poor kiddo, takes a long time to get to know others but once they do OH BOY ATTACHMENT TIME! Has a tendency to trust in children before trusting adults.
