Of course. But first, make sure you actually know how to insert custom fonts to your theme. To learn how to insert Google fonts to your code ( which is the easiest, in my opinion ), check out THIS tutorial, or THIS ONE. For all the other fonts that you may find on other sources, which is a very steps longer than Google fonts, check out THIS tutorial for instructions.
For my bolded texts, I usually go with something simply and easily readable, only slightly more different than what my regular text would look like. I really like Montserrat, which is what I use on my own blog. I also really like Roboto and Railway. If you want something outside of Google Fonts however, you can check out Fashion Fetish, or if you want something not as ‘strict’ and with a little more curves ( that’s what he said, heh ), check out Rock Salt.
I think italic fonts are more fun to pick because of... well, obvious reasons. If you want to take the easy way and just go straight to Google Fonts, I recommend the following: Dancing Script, Sacramento, Homemade Apple and Zeyada. As far as other platforms go, I really like the looks of Starfish ( which is what I am using right now ), Watermelon and Mocking Script.
My obvious go-to websites when it comes to looking for fonts are GOOGLE FONTS and DAFONT, like the other 99% of the internet who ever had to look for fonts. You can also check out the recommendations of W RESOURCES about free fonts, which really look awesome and I’m about to browse through them myself.
