Alison sees a fucked up, awkward girl with a lot of scars and a really weird smile.

Well, her parents died when she was young so. She lived all her life with her uncle, who is an asshole, but she never noticed it because she never knew better? She still loves her uncle more than anyone. She never had any toys? So she's sort of fascinated by then? She keeps some at her dorm on Xavier Institute, but her favorite stays hidden because it's a doll and she believes people would think it's dumb. Because of the death of her parents she also didn't get to go to school.
✆ - what kind of phone does your character have and what applications are most likely always used
She literally just got one when she joined the Institute. She never had the money or the need for a phone before that. She mostly just uses it as a clock.
