Finley is eerything a good Hufflepuff should be, he is diligent, kind, tolerant and above all he is patient. Finn’s entire life has been spent living in the shadow of his older by 7 minutes twin brother Fabian, who has been the object of their parent’s affections for as long as Finn can remember. Although he tries his very best to keep jealousy at bay, the green eyed monster does have a tendency to make an appearance every once in a while. Finn keeps himself busy by diving into his studies and playing as Keeper for the Hufflepuff house team, he is biding his time and desperately striving to make his parents proud.

Finn is perfectly competent with a wand, and his good looks and charming personality effectively puts an end to all theories that Hufflepuff are as a house, a useless bunch of nobodies. With the current climate of the wizarding world Finn wants to prove himself as loyal to Potter and is making every effort to be of a standard that the Order of the Phoenix would accept. He knows that his parents do not expect him to go riding into battle as they may do with his twin brother, but he certainly intends to do just that.

Oscar Aldertree | 17 | Hufflepuff | AVAILABLE

In a family full of siblings, Oscar Aldertree often found himself completely ignored, for most this would have created someone unpleasant and vindictive, but for Oscar it made him appreciate little things, the small amount of attention he did get was enough for him. Oscar spent a lot of his time at home looking after his younger siblings and helping his mother around the house. Oscar is a truly good hearted person, he can see the good in everyone - but is not blind to the bad however. 

He was placed in Hufflepuff house at Hogwarts in his first year, he is often made fun of by members of Slytherin house for his artistic talent which he takes delight in during his spare time. Typical of a Hufflepuff, he works hard at his studies and can often be found in the Library. Quidditch has never particularly appealed to him, but he shows his loyalty to his house by attending all of their matches.

Astrid Guinevere Dearborn is the daughter of Caradoc Dearborn and Lilliwen Jones. Lilliwen’s brother, Gethan, is the father of Hestia Jones - this makes Astrid and Hestia cousins. It came to light at a very early age that Astrid carried the metamorphmagus gene - thus she was able to transform any part of her appearance. During the first Wizarding war, both Lilliwen and Caradoc became a member of the order of the phoenix, an organisation led and founded by Albus Dumbledore, in order to oppose the dark lord Voldemort and his death eaters. During the height of conflict, Caradoc vanished and was never heard from afterwards. According to Alastor moody, he disappeared a mere six months after the photograph of the original order was taken. His body was never found and he was presumed dead. Lilliwen however, managed to stay for Astrid who was starting her Hogwarts education at the time of her father’s disappearance.

During Astrid’s first trip to Diagon alley, she visited Ollivanders wand shop. The wand that chose her was ten and a half inches long with a core of unicorn hair. It was made from vine wood and was considered to be pleasantly springy and reasonably pliant. Astrid decided against bringing a pet to school with her as she knew it would simply distract her from her studies. Astrid began her time at Hogwarts by being sorted into the house of Hufflepuff. She excelled in all of her subjects. For her O.W.L.S, Astrid chose to take defence against the dark arts, charms, transfiguration, potions, Herbology, astronomy, divination, history of magic and care of magical creatures. At the end of her fifth year, she gained an outstanding grade for each of her subjects. By this point, Astrid had already decided she wished to become an Auror once she left Hogwarts School of witchcraft and wizardry. In order to do this, she needed to take potions, defence against the dark arts, transfiguration, Herbology and charms at N.E.W.T level. By the end of her seventh and final year at Hogwarts, Astrid had achieved outstanding grades in each of her subjects - thus being able to begin her training as an Auror.

After completing her seven years of education at Hogwarts School of witchcraft and wizardry, Astrid then went on to do three more years of Auror training at the ministry of magic under the tutelage of Alastor moody. Astrid’s natural metamorphic abilities allowed her to easily pass the concealment and disguise portion of her training without doing any work for it at all. She also passed her stealth and tracking portion of her training very well, having always been light on her feet and having the skill to maintain good balance. Astrid was also required to train extensively in advanced magical combat and other elements of practical defence, as well as methods of criminal investigation. Poisons and antidotes was also another main aspect to her training.

Even though Cornelius fudge was not one hundred percent certain the stories of lord Voldemort’s return during the tri-wizard tournament were true, Astrid was sent to Hogwarts during the following school year to pose as the new astronomy professor - much to the students delight that they would no longer suffer lessons with aurora Sinistra. Her job entailed keeping an eye out for any suspicious behaviour, which she must report back to ministry immediately. It was during this time that she joined the second order of the phoenix, following in her fathers footsteps. If the dark lord and his followers had returned, she needed to gain justice for her father. That was her main goal.
