Yo, Zo.
"Well, damn. If I'd known any better this here place is tremendous enough t'hold my whole neighborhood an' still 'ave room fer more," a southern drawl rang among the plummy voices of the students around him. A set of dark chocolate eyes grazed over the architecture in wonderment before finally falling to the pile of run-down looking suitcases in front of him. Or well, more like sacks. "I guess I oughta find that dorm, huh." Reaching down, the boy picked up his things, swinging them over his back. After making sure he had all his stuff, he turned to his folk who remained standing in front of their run-down truck. He smiled a toothy smile, revealing a missing canine on his upper row. He walked over to them, quickly exchanging their last goodbyes. "Ya dun hafta worry 'bout me, 'kay? I will use that scholarship thingy an' come back with a job y'hear?" He grinned once more before watching his parents off. Then he turned around, marching off onto the campus to find his dorm for the new year. This place was a lot different from the place he grew up in, considering he grew up in what some of these students probably considered a tin can, but he was starting to like it. But how did this freckled-face, red-headed country bumpkin get into such a prestigious school like Princeton? He was already receiving some glances from other students perhaps wondering the same thing as he carried three large suitcases equivalent in sacks over his shoulders, as well as wore some dirty, worn-down jeans and t-shirt. Of course, he didn't really notice the glances having been so busy looking at what looks like a castle in his eyes. When he finally managed to get where he was informed his dorm was, he had to stop to wonder how this was even a dorm. It was such a nice looking building, as equally nice as the university itself and he was just.... well. He walked inside, struggling for a second to fit through the small space for the door before heading up the stairs. He glanced at all the little gold plaques on the doors that revealed the numbers till he found the one he was looking for. Room number 507. He smiled and tossed all his stuff against the wall so he could start fishing around for the set of keys he was given prior to his departure.
