I wonder what convinced Aquamarine and Eyeball to adopt Bluebird.
probs to spy on steven and the crystal gems(humans?) cause the human au bluebird episode is about the crystal humans babysitting bluebird, hijinx ensue
but idk if I would go for the more heartwarming route lets say they saw some children bullying bluebird(for either her vitiligo or missing eye, probably both) and fought the bullies off(probs with a knife they got lots of knives handy) and bluebird also fought the bullies after getting help from the two and both aqua and eyeball were like oh shoot we can’t NOT adopt her and so they did and they lived happily ever after
