Out of the corner of his eye, Ian notices that Mandy keeps a hand on her belly, randomly rubbing little circles into the side. It’s sweet and he wants to ask if it hurts, but he knows that drawing attention to her movements will ruin the moment. 

“I don’t want to be perceived,” she told them a few weeks ago at breakfast after Ian had made what he thought was an innocent comment about the way her fingers repetitively rubbed against her belly.

“The fuck does that even mean?” Mickey asked, eyebrows knitted together.

“Means shut the fuck up and don’t look at me, dickbag,” she responded, snagging a piece of bacon off of his plate.

Curious, Mickey walks over and stands next to her. She looks up at him when his boots scrape against the floor, her face lined with wet streaks. She’s scared. Franny quickly looks away, bringing her eyes back toward her feet, and Mickey can feel himself swallow and he resists the temptation to bite on the corner of his lip. Instead, he sits down next to her.

“You don’t like my castle?” he asks, immediately getting a watery head shake in return. “And the goblins?” 

“No,” Franny presses out, her voice wobbly and quiet, and scrunches up her nose looking at the myriad of goblins meandering around her. She looks over at Mickey and wipes at her face, clearing away some of the tears. “They’re ugly.”

“Well,” Mickey laughs, making eye contact. “Yes, they certainly are, aren’t they?” 

Mickey’s laughter isn’t contagious, but he can see the slightest smile as she continues to wipe at her face. They sit in silence for a few minutes and whenever Franny tenses at a goblin, Mickey throws a terrifying scowl their way.

Human Gems

Since Steven Universe has ended I thought I’d finally get around to drawing more of the human gems I’d imagined besides just the Lapidot ones. From left to right they are Bobbie, Dottie, Amelie, Parla, Dia, and Kara. Probably need to tweak Kara a little but for now I’m good with them. Bobbie, Dottie, and Kara go to Reverie High while Amelie, Parla, and Dia go to Reverie Prep.

Bumblebee looks cool, fantastic like all his ... Xd Brothers (?, But is it something yellow, does Black Diamond steal some essence from Yellow Diamond or use his abilities to make the bumblebee have that color?

Thanks! (Yes, brothers, but not by blood, Only by gem) At the time of drawing it, I honestly wasn't thinking about Yellow Diamond's aura. It looks similar to Bee's but it's not a destabilizing ability, per se. It's lightning; I suppose with enough power he could make a gem poof. As for the essences of the Diamonds, Black Diamond "politely asked" for a generous sample from each of the others lolz.

Here he is, My human/gem Hybrid. Zander (Stardust) Parker. His mother was a Woodallite.

Zander ran away at the age of ten. He had enough of his father's secrecy and not telling him anything about his mother, years on the street made him into a  lowly Fortune teller Conman. At the age of 14 he learnt that he had the ability to manipulate and block people’s perception of him and other things. Now 19 he uses his perception manipulation to get out of trouble and to pickpocket. He’s homeless and with no agenda, he just Follows the roads and sees where life takes him.

His summon weapon is a plain Chakram that he also inherited from his mother. The only “Magic ability” He has is to summon his weapon which at first comes out as small, coin looking object in which he then flips his hand around, making it turn into a Chakram of any size, between the size of his fist and the size of his head. His go to phrase when doing this is “Wanna see a magic trick?”

He’s been wearing the same clothes for a few months now and probably smells terrible, like Cigarettes, dirt, rain and musk. I wouldn’t say he’s a bad person, but he’s certainly not good either.

Tumblr, I understand why you have a ten image limit, but it’s annoying as balls. Human gem edits to get out those headcanons. Will do the fusions next, here’s a preview of those with Garnet bc it couldn’t upload her(or Holly Blue but shhh) with the rest
