In our new place!

We’ve been in our new apartment for almost two weeks now.

Nick has been at his new job for a little while now as well.  We are still adjusting to him working nights but everything is going pretty good.  

Finally today we started cloth diapering again.  Things were getting so hectic with the move and Nick’s old job that the boys were in disposable diapers for about a month.  I’m glad to have them back in their cloth.

While our big changes have been taking place there have been similar changes happening for my best friend and her family.  

They are moving across the country.  This is their last week here.  I’m very sad they are leaving.  Yesterday I was sitting in the car and just broke into tears at the thought that she will not be here to go wedding dress shopping with me and that I’ll likely be going alone.  

I’m going to miss her to pieces, and a small, selfish, part of me hopes she comes back. But overall I want her to be successful in her new adventure. The boys are doing well.  Elias has 4 teeth! Parker is just growing so tall and is so dang smart but also such a handful.  We’ve definitely hit the “Terrible Twos.”

This is a very good friend of my family's who has two very young children. If you can donate, that's wonderful. If you can spread the word, I will be eternally grateful. Please, please help! I know what it's like to be screwed over when buying a new home. They need some help so please help!

Tomorrow I'm going to see a friend I haven't seen since my mom kidnapped me.  

(I use the term kidnap very loosely, because to be quite frank, I'm just not exactly sure how else to describe the situation without a long-winded explanation)

I'm too excited/nervous to sleep. This is going to be really interesting.
