LOOK WHAT I FOUND! Nearly Intact Bird Skeleton
I found this in the middle of our street, this morning. Grey wings. Orange tail feathers with green tips? Legs as thin as dental floss with tinier intact toes. It’s WAY smaller than a chicken chick. I though maybe a hummingbird? A baby hummingbird?But the beak is short. Anyone?
In case my hand is not a good enough size indication, there’s an ant walking down it’s spinal column.
Still, a very cool find, especially for the biologist in me.
