i’ve never seen a post talking about how the line in Favoured Son when Heracles says “there’s plenty of work elsewhere, pops” and when Zeus says “let me know if you ever... change your mind.” WHICH IS IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWED BY THE SCENE WHEREIN HERACLES “GOES INSANE AND KILLS HIS WHOLE FAMILY” YA KNOW?

Like, in the myth or whatever, Heracles’ mind is LITERALLY FUCKED WITH BY THE OLYMPIANS before he goes on the murder spree.
