She wasn’t even supposed to be there. She was on her way out of the Riverlands when she heard the motel owner gossip with the cleaning lady. Suspicious disappearances—mostly children—vicious attacks at night, no bodies, and an old castle that no one dared visit were all signs Dany recognised too well. So she stayed behind, pulled out her computer and started her usual research. The last thing she read before heading to Acorn Hall was a suspicious article of a disgraced doctor from King’s Landing who got stripped of his title for experimenting on his patients just around the time the disappearances started.
