figuring out final design things for the yolo pages... this is the back/spine/front cover . (front cover by hunter payne.) we're going to actualy add an ISBN /barcode to this design . can u believe. boost house and stev roggenbuck have never even purchased an ISBN until this day. but now it is time . hail satan

THE YOLO PAGES will be an epic anthology of poetry, prose, tweets, images, and other material from 50+ people. not exactly an “alt lit” anthology, this book will compile some of the most positive and activist-minded writing from that community, alongside other contemporaries and historical forebears. this book will set the tone for boost house’s future catalogue, and will introduce many of the writers and ideas we want to promote long-term.
project release date is ~late march hopefully. we have at least half the contributors we want in mind already, but we're also considering open submissions: see our Call for Submissions

I have the potential to sit there and render something perfect—everyone does, you just have to put in the time. But I’d rather take a route that appears to be extremely juvenile, really ignorant, because I believe that someone who isn’t already involved in arts, or who doesn’t have a background in art history, can look at a shitty drawing and critique it. They can say, 'Wow, I can do that. That was a shitty drawing.' It makes a person who wasn’t involved with the arts involved with the arts in a more meaningful way than if they were distanced from a more perfect rendering of a duck, or something… My main purpose is empowering the viewer and spreading love, so if I can make it look like I’m a dumbass who doesn’t know what I’m doing, then that’s perfect, because the person can walk away feeling a little bit better about themselves, and I don’t mind being the platform for them to do that, hehe.
