Not often, but I do pitch in where I can. Dad says it’s fine that I want to help, but to be careful, which I am!
Honestly, I’d prefer it if I was allowed to help more than I do, but MK doesn’t like it when I try to take care of public menaces so he doesn’t have to. He keeps saying it’s “not my fight”, but I can see how exhausted he is some days. It was especially bad last night, and I can tell he isn’t happy that I went out and took care of the Spicer kid for him.
He’s not mad, but… I can tell he doesn’t like how I’m trying to ease his burden as the protector of this city either
So I’m going to try something different. His biggest “annoyance” right now is Jack Spicer. But I have this feeling that Jack is not really a bad person, just lonely, and definitely sleep deprived. I’m hoping if I befriend him, MK will be able to rest a little more.
Plus, I think Jack is pretty cool from what I know about him, and I’m pretty lacking in the “friends my own age” department, so I’m hoping to kill two birds with one stone here, y’know?
I just hope I’m right about the feeling I got about Jack, otherwise today isn’t gonna be fun…
