Just a Kiss || -A Task
Georgina was laying in the middle of the floor surrounded by candles. The scene very much resembled some pagan ritual with her as the sacrificial virgin. “You may say I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one. I hope someday you will join us. And the world will…” Georgina stopped singing as the music stopped. “Really iPod? You want to die on me now.” Electricity was something that she had taken for granted. From the lights which allowed her to read to the hair straightened that kept her hair from frizzing, power had become a major part of her life. Her iPod was one of the few electronics which still had some power and now it was no more. Georgina looked over to the counter where she had MacGyver a faux electrical outlet out of a potato. She doubted it would give very much of a charge, but it was worth a shot. Just as she was about to plug in the iPod, her pocket began to vibrate. She pulled her phone out seeing an unknown number on the screen. She quickly unlocked the phone puzzled as to who it could be. It was from -A. Rivercourt had been so peaceful lately. She should have known that the blackout signaled his or her arrival back. Just like some B-movie villain, -A had to make a dramatic reappearance. The message read that she had to make out with Hunter Summers. She didn’t really know the boy that well. They had gone to school together, but they had never really spoken. -A knew her secret and would use it against her if she refused. Compared so some of the other goings on around town, Georgina’s secret seemed minor, but to her it was a huge issue. She would play -A’s game for now. After all, her task wasn’t too heinous. Georgina had relaxed quite a bit in the last few months. After all, she had had oral sex with Tom. It was in a moment of weakness, but it still was some experience. A kiss didn’t really seem like a huge deal in comparison, at least that is what she told herself. The truth was a kiss still meant a huge deal to her. It was always true love’s kiss which broke the spell. Each kiss she gave had become a search to find that one very special kiss. It was silly to think that way, but she did. Georgina sent a quick message to Cash under the guise of needing to talk to Hunter about something bland. He was thankfully prompt in his reply telling her that Hunter was most likely at his house. Georgina thanked him and freshened up a bit. Even if this were not for a boyfriend, the least Georgina could do was look presentable. She arrived at the Hunter household which looked blessedly empty. If she didn’t perform the task, she could tell -A that she had tried. It wasn’t her fault if Hunter wasn’t home. Georgina smiled and knocked on the door. Just as she was about to leave, it swung open revealing Hunter. “Um, hi. I don’t know if you know me, but I’m Georgina Monroe. May I come in?”
