Shoulder pressing 100lbs dumbbells 20Xs was my goal before bow season. I didn't get it and I'm pretty pissed ab that. Anywho, I felt like pure hell before I went to the gym. I was having a pretty shitty day and honestly had no sleep from being up at work. I took all the bottled up anger/frustration and threw them into these dumbbells! And the rest speaks for itself. I got it 19.not20 times. The most I've ever shoulder pressed. Did I get my goal??? Well no but I'm not far away. I know it's achievable. Reminds of that part in rocky 5 where he makes ol Ivan bleed "see he's not a machine!" It will happen! I know I can do it! The goal is not too large! Just goes to show that when your dragging your ass like a dog with worms it really doesn't determine what kind of work out you're going to have! It's all mental toughness folks!
