hiatus

tumblr and social media in general are getting in the way of the things I want and need to be doing, so i’ll be going on a semi-hiatus until early may, when the semester ends.

some thoughts

(spoilers below)

we see in multiple scenes with Kara, Alice, and Luther that androids can be identified by their (lack of) heat signatures (among other differences). SO WHY THE HELL IS MARKUS ABLE TO OVERHEAT HIS SYSTEMS SO THAT HE SPONTANEOUSLY COMBUSTS INTO FLAMES?

and don’t even get me started on Alice being an android lmfao...

but there’s also the fact that Markus was a prototype, created explicitly for Carl Manfred by Elijah Kamski. And apparently Kamski engineered the revolution entirely. So like... did Kamski design Markus with an overheat button just for that moment? And what about other endings where Markus does NOT spontaneously combust? Does he just not have that function in that continuity? Does Detroit depend on the multiverse theory, where all possible outcomes are true and planned by Kamski?? i just...

For a game about choice and free will, I really don’t like the fact that the entire plot of the game, and all of its possible events and endings, were apparently completely engineered by one man (Kamski). if kamski planned it all, are the androids truly alive, or are they just pawns in some kind of real-life simulation designed by an asshole genius with a man-bun?? 

I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS.

i love this game and its characters, but the plot holes, man!!!!! theyre too much!!!!

fuck... he’s still playing on minecraft servers. i shouldnt have looked him up but i did.

it doesn’t surprise me he’s getting banned for explicit sexual roleplay, and then getting his ban removed.

if youre on the Lord of the Craft minecraft server, be careful around llyrios. i don’t have any proof of the things he did to me becaus it was so long ago and i was too young to know better than to save proof, but it’s clear he hasn’t changed.
