The hairs at the back of Tim’s neck stood when he heard the voice. Not Bruce’s voice, something similar but different. Turning to face Tommy, he gave no reply. Not that he could if he wanted to.

“Your funeral.” He left his seat and headed to the kitchen, gathering the simplest things he could find to make. Just some bacon and eggs. He ended up burning the edges of both with the middles still raw. And it wasn’t for the lack of trying.
“Enjoy.”
