Hello! I love your games and your work. I think a lot of fans have noted that Addison's last name is Sinclair, and many have wondered if she and Kara Sinclair from HSS are related in any way, or is the shared last name a coincidence? Thanks!

Funny story about that! When we were first writing HWU, another writer and I were coming up with Addison’s last name. I thought Sinclair would be a perfect name, and then, without me ever saying anything, he wrote her with the last name of Sinclair. We freaked out!

A little while later, a much smarter member of our team was like, “Why did you give Addison the same last name as Kara?”

So, apparently we’re just obsessed with the last name Sinclair. It was an accident, BUT I’d like to think that the fact that we were both thinking it means it was meant to be.

As for whether or not they’re related, it wasn’t our original intention, but it is way more compelling than them NOT being related. Sometimes accidents can have awesome results. And who knows, maybe you’ll see more evidence down the line…

Hello! I really love HWU and Aria is one of my favorite characters. Last time we saw her she was on a crazy spending spree. I was wondering, will we see her in a main quest soon?

So glad you love Aria! We spent a lot of time on her character, trying to get the right mix of bubbly and rich and a dash of young naivete.

As for her presence in the main quest line, I can't say. We're having fun with this Desiree - Artemis story, so the question is whether Aria will organically come up.

That said, we hear you! And we want to make sure you get plenty of time with the characters you love!

Hey Eric! Just like to start off by saying a big thank you for all your, and the PB team's efforts, in the writing of such awesome games! :D I'm curious about how far ahead the main storyline has been planned up to at the moment - seeing as the main character is already at around level 68 in the main quest, will the story end when we reach Level 100? :)

We have soooo many different story tracks that we're really not in a position to think TOO far ahead. We have an idea of what's coming, but we definitely haven't thought about level 100!

Don't worry, though. Even if there were no more levels to gain, we'd still find a way to continue the story...

I was wondering if you have any plans for your A-Listers/All Stars beyond their one follow-up quest after purchase. And I just wanted to say that I love the games and thank you so much for all the hard work you put into them.

First, we're so glad that you love our games! That means a lot to us! Thank you!

To answer your question: our current plan is (as things have been) to offer up the introductory quest and then the follow-up quest (two quests per A-Lister). As many have noted, this takes up a lot of our resources, so we're reticent to do any more quests than that.

Our holiday quest (The Diamond Party) was our 1st attempt to bring in all the A-Listers. I could see us doing another one like that down the road...

It's a tough balancing game. We want to make sure that all the A-Listers are desirable, but we also don't want our game to JUST be about A-Listers. Two quests per seems to be a good balance.

Are we gonna get a continuation to the zombie quest?

Assuming you're asking about the quest that unlocks when you get a zombie (Dead Man Walking), no. As much as we'd want to, we are limited to just one quest per type.

What'd you think of that one?

Will we ever get a new main story quest where the mc is actually in university doing student stuff or will the plot be about them growing their empire from now on?

We really want to be able to do quests about both! We want to show the MC's growth in Hollywood, and we want to show the regular, day-to-day of college life. At this point, it's kind of impossible to do that in the main storyline. We'd only be able to get there by having something CRAZY BAD happen, like a scandal where all of the MC's built-up respect and accolades are stripped from them -- which doesn't sound very fun to us, or fair for that matter. The MC's come so far!

Our way of having our college-and-empire cake and eating it too is to keep the MC moving up in the main storyline and try to get some of that college feel in other quests -- that was what we hoped to provide with the Pub Quiz and Truth or Dare quests -- ways of having the MC just hanging out with friends and having fun. And hopefully, we'll find time to write more of those going forward!
