All I wanted was to take a small break before medical school, after serving 10 years on active duty with my wife. Instead, you denied my stay at your hotel without offering any sort of assistance to find another hotel. Your own policy states weapons can be stored and/or kept in the premise. When I called, you only offered to refund my money (awesome because I did not stay). When I said that does not quite make the cut for ruining my vacation and leaving me stranded in New Orleans. I get two additional nights. What about the employees that turned me away for no good reason? What about the extra seven hours I drove because you turned me away on the 4th of July and nothing was available?
