• — • . Hybrid! Small bear reader who’s going through ‘Hibernation-psychosis’…they refuse to hybernate.
Reader is smaller then normal ig idk. Lowkey dad price
You’ve bearly slept at all. You can’t remember the last time you got a a good nights rest without tossing and turning, or slipping into an uncontrollable deep sleep.
This month has been kicking your ass like no other, and you and your entire team know the exact reason why.
“Let’s go.” Price, in all his black Bear glory. You didn’t even hear the door open..
He’d become somewhat of a guide to you these past few month, being the only other Bear hybrid he knew how it was being such a dangerous hybrid type in the force.
“W-what?” You spoke. You didn’t even look up at him, you just sat barely moving sluggishly writing away at your reports that stopped making sense to you a few hours ago.
“Let’s. Go.” He spoke harsher, this time it wasn’t even a request, it was a demand.
You raised your heavy eyes to look at him, the two of you had a silent stare down, fighting for the small amount of dominance you could even have against the man.
You finally gave in, “fine.” Is all you said before you slowly raised from your chair and stood in front of him with a prominent hunch in your back.
The two of you left your quarters to venture out into the hallway, the contrast between your walks was very drastic. It was nearly sad.
You walked with heavy footing and it was clear that this wasn’t a good experience for you.
The two of you Leisurely reached your destination, Price palmed the handled like it owned him money to swing open the door with slight force.
Upon arrival inside the room, you were hit with a very warm breeze. So cozy it almost knocked you off your feet.
You opened your eyes farther, and they blew up in surprise. This is the largest your eyes had ever been.
You walked in farther to look around, in the middle of the room was an indent in the floor, kinda like a shallow pool. And filled to the brim in it are blankets and pillows. And around all that was the team sitting with big smiles.
Your pupils widened and your nose twitched, you couldn’t help the low cub like mewl that left your mouth.
“Come now cub,” Ghost said as he pulled you down by your vest, then ripped it off you with ease. “Rest now.”
For the rest of the night, the team fed you various foods, tucked you in, and forced you to sleep in the cuddle pile they had constructed with you under them all, successful washing all your stress away.
Needless to say, you were asleep for a verrry. Long time after today.
The first few days at the base were a little rougher than Price had expected. They had to start running a few tests on you, mainly to determine what kind of medical attention you needed. John stared at the screen in front of him as the nurse ran through everything they had found.
‘With treatment and medication will she be okay?’ He asked. The nurse nodded going over the files again.
‘Yes, but we’ll need to come up with medication to treat her. Considering her DNA is 70% human and 30% a mixture of other animals. We’ll need to work out what medications will work between veterinary medicine and human medicine. The first main one to start her on is worming medication, she’s filled with parasites,’ she said. Price sighed and nodded, rubbing his head. ‘This is going to be a long process, sir. Would you consider perhaps we put her down humanely?’ She asked. Price looked at the screens.
‘It’s an option, one I have to think about,’ he muttered. They both heard a sound and turned to see you sitting behind them looking at Price with betrayal in your eyes. ‘Oh god, pup.’ You ran out of the infirmary as fast as you could as Price began to chase after you. ‘Pup! Come back!’
You ran through the base as fast as you could, Price knew you couldn’t escape the base considering it was locked down, but it was still a big base.
Konig was coming back from training when he heard a small whimpering sound. He searched around until he found you curled up under some shrubbery. He had never seen anything like you before. He knelt and you looked up, growling softly.
‘Easy, little one. I don’t mean any harm. I’ve never seen someone like you,’ he said. You looked at him, sniffing a little to try and gauge his scent. He smiled and looked around to make sure no one was around before he took off his hooded mask and placed it in front of you. You cautiously moved forward and began smelling it, getting a better hint at his scent. ‘See? Not so scary am I?’
‘Pup!’ Price called out as you looked up in fear. Konig glanced at you before you rushed to him, he put his mask back on as you hid behind him. Price ran up and saw you cowering. ‘Pup, there you are,’ he muttered, out of breath from running. He knelt where you were hiding behind Konig. ‘Sweetheart, I’m sorry for what you heard. I’m not going to hurt you, I was thinking about your well-being and pain.’ He reached forward and gently patted your ears as you looked up at him cautiously.
‘Don’t want go,’ you muttered as Price stared at you in shock. He didn’t know you could talk.
‘You won’t be going anywhere, sweetheart. You’ll be staying with us, you’re just quite sick and you need some medicine to help. I know you’ve been hurt a lot in the past, but we won’t hurt you,’ he said. He hoped you understood some of what he said. You slowly moved forward and nudged him a little as he smiled and scratched behind your ears.
‘Ah, Captain. What exactly is she?’ Konig asked making Price chuckle softly.
‘Well, according to all our tests, she’s 70% human 30% animal. Ghost and I found her at an abandoned lab. They’d been testing on children for years, she was all that was left,’ he explained. Konig looked down at you sadly. ‘Should’ve seen how we found her, and thanks to living off rats and bugs for so long she’s full of worms and parasites,’ he continued. Konig cringed a little.
‘Poor pup, so does she need a doctor or a vet?’ Konig asked. It was a laughable but valid question.
‘A bit of both actually, the nurses are working on what medications to prescribe for her.’ Price continued patting your ears, you seemed to have calmed down. ‘We need to keep this under wraps, I can’t let her go to another lab,’ he said. Konig nodded and watched as your bandaged tail wagged softly.

Price eventually coaxed you back to the infirmary and into your bed. You had tried to explain to you the medicine you had to take but he could see you were confused
'Okay, how do I explain this,' he muttered holding a bottle of pills. He knew a few ways to explain it but he also didn't want to freak you out with the fact that you were full of bugs and worms. 'So, these little pills are going to make you feel good, and also stop the whole vomiting and...the other end stuff,' he muttered. He held out the pill and a glass of water. 'Take pill, feel better. Okay?' You nodded and took the pill, chewing it before swallowing. 'Probably should've been more clear about swallowing it, not eating it,' Price mumbled, but at least the pill was being digested now. Price sighed as you sat and stared at him, he smiled and ran his hand through your hair. 'What will we do with you, pup?' he muttered. The past few days had been hell and he was starting to feel it, even more so considering he had slept in the infirmary every night. 'Maybe we can see if you can sleep in my bunk tonight. It's a little better than this place.' Price glanced around at the full white and sterile room. You looked at him, tilting your head a little. He chuckled softly before standing up. 'Come on, let's go for a little walk while most of the men are out training,' he said as you wagged your tail and stood up beside him. He looked at you before taking off his hat and placing it over your ears. He looked down at your wagging tail before he took off his jacket and tied it around your waist. You tilted your head again, confused about what he was doing. 'If people see your ears and tail it might put you in danger,' he said. You nodded a little, he was surprised by how much you understood him. 'Come on,' he said with a smile as he held onto your hand, making sure you stayed by his side.
He took you around the base, noticing you were sniffing around all the new areas. It was endearing to see how much you trusted Price after everything you'd been through. He brought you to his bunk and opened the door. You rushed in and jumped onto his bed, you sniffed the blankets as Price leaned against the doorway and watched. 'I really hope you didn't inherit the need to piss on things,' he mumbled as you continued to search around his bunk room. You ventured into the bathroom and stared at the toilet. He laughed softly. 'And that would be a toilet, that's something you'll hopefully eventually use... Rather than the bedpan that still gives me nightmares,' he muttered cringing at some of the things he'd seen come out of your body the past few days. Before he knew it you reached into the toilet to get some water. 'Shit! No, no don't drink that,' he scolded as you pouted. 'It's gross, it's bad. No wonder you've got bloody worms,' he mumbled as he started helping you wash your hands. 'You've got some learning to do, sweetheart.'

Unfortunately, the nurses didn't want you to leave the infirmary. John knew it was the smartest choice to keep you there, he didn't need your bodily fluids in his bed.
'Listen, pup. I need to go for a while to get some things done. You need to be good and stay here and listen to the nurses,' he said. You pouted and grabbed onto him as he sighed. He grabbed his comm and called Konig to the infirmary.
Konig arrived and smiled when he saw you again.
'I need you to stay in the infirmary with her tonight, that's an order,' Price said as Konig chuckled softly.
'Order or not I would be more than happy to spend time with the pup,' Konig said as John sighed and nodded.
'Okay, good. The nurses will take care of the medications and the whole going to the bathroom thing. It's just easier for them if there's someone around she trusts,' he said. Price paused and turned to you. 'Konig won't hurt you, he's going to keep you company, okay?' he asked as you reluctantly let go of Price's arm and nodded. 'I'll be back in the morning, sweetheart,' he said kissing the top of your head. Before leaving he looked at Konig. 'Call me if she needs anything, okay? Anything at all,' he said. Konig nodded and assured him everything would be fine. Konig found it sweet how much he cared for you. Once Price was gone Konig looked at you.
'Do you know what hair braiding is?' he asked as you looked at him in confusion and shook your head. 'Well, I would be more than happy to braid your hair, little pup. Turn around,' he said. You turned on the bed as he smiled and gently ran his fingers through your hair. He watched as your body relaxed and you let out a relaxed breath. 'Can't say I've ever braided somebody with dog ears on their head,' he muttered as he began to braid your hair. You closed your eyes and let yourself relax even more.
If you want to could you please write more puppyboy hybrid? It can be NSFW or SFW (which ever is easier to write) Thanks! Btw i love your work!

Thank you so much! Sorry for taking a bit to respond, I've been receiving more messages than I thought I would ❤️
(Reader) stumbled as their pet? roommate? friend, Buddy, a golden haired puppy hybrid pulled them by their hand excitedly, dragging them from the car into the grocery store. (Reader) figured that Buddy was always excited to leave the house because of his canine instincts, when in actuality it was because he considered any time they went outside to be a date. Shopping dates, car ride dates, taking a walk around town dates; even though (Reader) never said it, Buddy knew they loved him. More than loving him, he knew they were in love with him. Just as he was them.
Buddy excitedly jumped into the basket of the shopping cart, beaming with joy at the exhausted adult. They didn't argue, however, just sighing and pushing the cart down the isles they needed. It wasn't going to be a long shopping trip, they only needed a few things, but Buddy had insisted that he needed to go with them. (Reader) just hoped that he wouldn't cause the trip to last longer than it needed to be, wanting to be at home snuggled up on the couch.
"(Reader)?" A voice called out behind them, turning to find an old friend from high school.
"Peter! My God you've gotten old! How are ya?" (Reader) joked, reaching out to grab Peter's hand.
The shopping cart squealed as Buddy jumped out of it, dashing between the two reuniting friends. His back was arched and his stance was wide, his ears pressed back in a threatening way as he growled at the other man.
"Buddy, what are you doing?!"
Buddy turned back to (Reader), grabbing them by the hand to leave, his ears still flattened and his tail straight. "Let's hurry up and go home."
(Reader) tried to pull back, to argue, but everytime they tugged against his grasp it only tightened, baring his teeth.
This continued until they got home. As (Reader) closed the door of their apartment behind them, Buddy shoved them against the door, trapping them with his body.
"What do you think you're doing?"
"What do you think you're doing?!" Buddy snapped back, tears glistening at the corners of his long eyelashes. "How dare you think about flirting with someone else while we're out on a date?"
Before (Reader) could become offended by his attitude, Buddy bit down on their neck, causing them to cry out in pain.
"Buddy, stop! That hurt!"
He growled pulling down the neck of (Reader's) shirt, the threads in it snapping as he stretched it out. Sharp teeth grazed their neck, threatening to take a deadly bite.
"This only happened because he didn't know you were my mate..." He kissed their neck passionately, pressing his body into theirs as he licked and sucked down to their collar bone.
(Reader's) face flushed as something hardened, pressing into their thigh. Buddy pulled himself away from the forming hickies, his face looking feverish as his breathing became uneven.
He grabbed (Reader's) hand, leading it down to his crotch, forcing them to feel his erection. "I've been good waiting for you.. now I need you to be a good little mate for me."
