Rika loved this man.
From the moment their paths crossed, she had felt an undeniable draw to him. It was forbidden, wrong even, but even given her position and goals, she couldn't help but get closer to this particular underling.
As time went on, it really seemed to be for the best. Somehow, even within this organization, she had found someone who loved her fully, no matter what mask she had worn or failed to wear. Her position as ‘Saviour,’ her weak states when she crumbled to not much more than tears, through it all, he had stayed steadfast by her, not a change in his adoring gaze.
“Hyeon-u.” She spoke in a hushed, loving tone. Alone with him in her chambers, which had now come to be one of her favourite times, she crawled into his lap with a teasing smirk, facing him. She wrapped her arms around his shoulders as his hands traveled to feel at her legs and assist in her balance.
“What is it Rika?” He replied, crimson red eyes gazing admirably as they turned a few shades darker. Rika's smile grew, cheeks blushing slightly as a similar grin also appeared on his features.
She lifted her hand to gently caress his cheek, his hand lazily tracing large circles against her thigh that sent light shivers up her spine. Leaning forward, she rested her forehead against his, not breaking eye contact. She felt more comfortable with him than she ever had with anyone else in her life. While her goals of paradise were still big in her mind, she had also come to feel that without him, it would be incomplete.
“I love you.” She stated clearly. How odd to think that before she had met him, she had written off the idea of loving again.
His hand traveled up her back, pulling her closer still. “And I love you Rika.” He replied warmly, leaning in to find her lips with his. Love without limit, without stipulations, flowed. As long as she was with him, this was basically paradise itself.
