New poll shows who would win between Trump and Obama - if they are allowed to run for a third term
President Donald Trump has recently sparked conversation by entertaining the idea of running for a third term — a move that would require overturning the 22nd Amendment, which limits presidents to two terms in office. His musings have led to speculation about how he would perform in a theoretical rematch with fellow two-term president Barack Obama.
When asked by a reporter about such a hypothetical face-off, Trump responded enthusiastically: “I’d love that. Boy, I’d love that.”
However, a new poll suggests he might face a tough challenge. According to a survey conducted by Overton Insights on April 2, among 1,100 registered voters, 53% said they would back Obama, while 47% said they’d vote for Trump.
While the matchup remains purely hypothetical, the poll highlights the continued influence both men have on the American political landscape.
