So what about kissing maul between his horns very softly !!
now that's what i'm talking about. could you imagine? i see all the headcanons that the area is very sensitive, and of course, you're the only one who can touch him there other than himself. maybe because his old master also knew, and probably used it against him. but enough thinking of him suffering. he would just melt. close his eyes, give himself to you, to your gentleness, so different from anything he's ever known. he would shiver under the feeling of your warm, soft lips, carefully trailing kisses up his forehead. he'd let out low, relaxed sighs at your touch. you're so precious to him and he's not afraid to show it, but sometimes, he's the one who needs the comfort. that's when you know to go slow, letting him know you care about him just as much ...

Gardener's Delight
Bucky had stopped paying attention when Sam was washing the zucchinis. Every neuron in his brain had focused in solely on the way his long fingers wrapped around the vegetable, the wet slide of his fist up and down each one as he rubbed away any dirt that still clung to them. Hell, his mouth had gone dry and he thought he might've gotten a little light headed. For a split second, he had come back online when Sam began to shred them with a vigor that almost had Bucky asking if he was in trouble. But then all his focus had gone back to Sam's hands and the flexing muscles of his forearms with every rise and fall against the grater.
He knew Sam was still talking, working his way through a recipe that Sarah had sent him that came from their mama's kitchen. He cherished the stories Sam always offered up with excitement and nostalgia. He held them as close to his heart as his own memories from a century ago. But damn if he was listening at all right now.
"Here, try," Sam encouraged suddenly, holding one hand out to Bucky without turning around. He was shaking the grater in the bowl, freeing the pulp that clung to the inside.
Bucky almost wrapped his mouth around Sam's fingers. He didn't know where Sam was going with it, but he was game. But then he saw the end piece of one of the zucchinis that had been chopped off earlier. Sam didn't waste food, so Bucky should've expected that the piece of refuse would become a snack. Sam had cut off more than usual because 'I don't like the shape at the end. It's all folded." Bucky, mind a thousand miles down in a gutter had used the word vein instead.
He took the proffered piece and ate around the stem of it. They'd planted the garden three years ago and it ebbed and flowed in what it offered them. The zucchini's though, those always came in well.
"I know what it tastes like," he said. "We've had them before." In fact, they'd had so much ratatouille recently, he had lost any fondness for stews all together. Sliced zucchini went on sandwiches and in salads and was eaten in lieu of a better midnight snack. They couldn't eat it fast enough.
"Figured I better give you something to do before you fully wandered away. I can feel you getting distracted," Sam explained. You have no idea, Bucky thought. "Stir the batter again."
Bucky tossed the left over stem piece into their compost bucket (really, it was just an extra large cup from some almost-local barbeque joint that they filled until they dumped everything outside for deer or worms) and gave a few cursory stirs to the thick batter waiting for the various fillings, zucchini chief among them.
"Like you mean it," Sam added pointedly. His hand trailed over Bucky's forearm and Bucky's thoughts shot right back to daydreams about Sam's fingers and his muscles and the flour-covered tank top he was wearing and the way it cut in on the back to show off his shoulder blades.
Hand over Bucky's, he made sure Bucky was stirring to the bottom of the bowl. Bucky enjoyed the feeling of their shared space instead of paying attention.
"Did you dice the ham?" Sam asked, which was less what drew Bucky's thoughts back to reality. Moreso it was the sudden cool that blew in between them when Sam stepped away.
"Yeah, it's on the center block," he said, turning too to grab the deli meat and a bowl of shredded cheeses. Damn, he should've made Sam do all the grating. He could've had a show all afternoon.
Zucchini, ham, and cheese all went into the batter and Bucky stepped away to let Sam do all the seasonings because, evidently, he wasn't any good at that part. It was beyond him why savory muffins needed extra seasoning, but whatever.
Bucky enjoyed watching the muscles in Sam's back move as he stirred everything together one more time, but once he was dividing the mixture into the muffin tin, the show was decidedly over. Bucky sighed and reached for an orange. Their orange tree was also a good investment.
"You ever been able to peel one of these things in one go?" he asked as he dug his thumb nail into the navel to start the process. "I used to be better at it, but I think they changed oranges since the 40s."
"You can't say that about every fruit. We're not doing the banana thing again," Sam sighed, but Bucky could tell he was grinning, so he didn't mind the ribbing. "Of course I can. Just give me a second."
Bucky got another orange while Sam put the tins in the oven. By the time Sam was done, Bucky had already broken the peel of his and was scowling at it like it personally offended him.
"There's a trick," Sam explained. "Watch this." He also popped out the navel first and worked his thumb under the peel. "You don't wanna pull it from the outside," he said. "You can't feel anything that way. Keep your thumb inside. Push it along the fruit, so you can feel the peel tearing against your knuckle."
Bucky's mouth was dry again. Sam had a way of dropping his voice down low when he was explaining something. He slowed down and got gentle, wanted to make sure people were keeping up with him. The problem was, he did the same thing when he was teasing Bucky too. When he was trailing his fingers over Bucky's abdomen and asking what he wanted and why he was whining and squirming and come on, sweetheart, just use your words.
"Just be gentle," Sam continued. "It's soft, y'know." And Bucky knew he was doing it on purpose at this point. He'd probably looked up and seen the way Bucky's eyes were rapt on his fingers, but dammit, the juice running down his thumb, dripping from the jut of his wrist had recaptured the attention of every thinking piece of Bucky's body.
"Just keep goin' 'round in circles, easing it back. Don't go too fast. It ain't a race." That carefully protected southern drawl was beginning to drip from his lips, heavy as the spanish moss outside.
"Fuck you," Bucky breathed, half a whine. He knew what he was doing to Bucky.
Sam's gaze lifted, bright and knowing. He was grinning from ear to ear. Bucky wanted nothing more than to back him into the corner of their cabinets, kiss that knowing, teasing glimmer out of him. It would come back and back and back anyway, refill for eternity if Bucky was around to rile up.
He looked away, pouting, heart racing, so full of need he could barely breathe. He pushed his thumb beneath the peel of his orange again, just to do something. Almost immediately, he felt his fingers hit a soft spot in the orange and juice spritzed across his face. He jerked back a little and reached up to wipe his eye.
"See, that's what happens if you get too excited," Sam laughed. His orange was bare, the peel a perfect spiral on the kitchen table beside him where he was leaning back against it. He popped a wedge in his mouth, delighted.
But Bucky knew what Sam liked too. He put his fingers to his lips, licked the juice from them slow, like he'd wanted to do to Sam's hands. Sam's eyes brightened. The next wedge, he bit in half, so juice spilled over his chin, turned his lips glossy.
Fuck it, Bucky was in no mood to play further. He'd been playing longer than Sam and he was over it. He crossed the few strides between them, boxed Sam in against the table, and kissed the juice from his mouth. Kissed him so fully, some of the orange actually ended up in his mouth. The rest of the orange rolled piteously as Sam got his sticky fingers in Bucky's hair and tugged him forward. Apparently, he didn't want to play either.
Despite pulling them flush in the first place, Sam was the one to shift back to sit on the table. He still urged Bucky between his legs again anyway, but it wasn't close enough. Bucky wrapped his arm around Sam's waist, pulled him close, leaned over him. He didn't trust their full weight on the table, but he was still chasing the tang of orange into Sam. Wanted to follow it to his belly until there was no coming back.
Sam's hands landed on either side of his face, holding him still so he could kiss across the spray of orange juice that Bucky hadn't wiped away fully. His cheek, his brown bone, the edge of his temple.
"This is a good smell on you," Sam breathed, which only marginally brought Bucky back down to the earthly plane.
"Desperation?" he asked with a furrow to his brow.
Sam laughed softly and shook his head. Their noses brushed, back and forth, and Bucky ascended again. "You pretty much always smell like that."
"Thanks." It was meant to be a dry sort of grouse, but Bucky was too distracted and too enamoured to get there.
"Smelling like our garden," Sam insisted between kisses, still holding Bucky's face but not doing a very good job of keeping him still. "Sunshine and soil and oranges."
"Better keep me here then," Bucky suggested. "Not gonna get that smell anywhere else."
"Yeah," Sam agreed breathily. "You're not goin' anywhere."

Kamado-san of the Kitchen: TBHK SWAP AU.
Characters;
Yashiro Nene: First year high schooler (15)
A young first year high school girl who knows all about the scary rumors in Kamome. She’s the childhood friend of the Yugi twins and has a short lifespan, destined to die.
Yugi Amane: Second year middle schooler (13-14)
The second year middle schooler who’s the clockkeeper of the present. Given the role after trying to save Nene, Amane tasks himself with trying to save her at all costs at the chagrin of Akane Aoi, his cousin.
•He is distant with his younger twin brother, Yugi Tsukasa.
Minamoto Kou / Kamado-san: Dead third year middle schooler (14)
The ghost of the kitchens. He had once been a human who did a reckless action that caused the death of him and his older brother. Now he haunts the kitchens of the old school building and takes on Yugi Tsukasa as his assistant.
Minamoto Teru: dead second year high schooler (17)
The older brother of Kou who died in the red house with him. He came back as a Yorishiro but also with something else. He will do anything for his family and works with Natsuhiko and Sakura as well as Akane.
Mitsuba Sousuke; Third year middle schooler (14)
A young boy who was supposed to have died but didn’t. In exchange, he is taught by Aoi to defend himself and becomes friends with Tsukasa and Kou through his mission to look after Tsukasa (?). He doesn’t have any latent exorcism powers and simply uses a bracelet/other item with supernatural powers imbued into it given by Aoi.
Yugi Tsukasa: second year middle schooler (13-14)
Amane’s younger twin. He is the Kannagi of the modern day and age. Due to distance with his younger brother and isolation by his family, he’s co-dependent on Amane and sees Amane being cross with him as it being his fault. His first friends are Kou and Mitsuba.
Aoi Akane (girl): first year high school student (15)
Cousin of the Twins. She was born with exorcism powers due to her lineage and is usually busy on patrol. She teaches Amane and Mitsuba but tends to be a bit tough to Amane. She cares deeply for her cousins and despises lies. She became the youngest student council president due to popular demand.
Akane Aoi (boy): Dead third year middle schooler (15).
Fifteen year old ghost who dies in Mitsuba’s place. He becomes friends with Mitsuba after his death before dying again to Teru. He died when Mitsuba was in second year (14) and he was in third year (15), ready to enter high school.
Akane Aoi (boy): HOM doppelganger
New Akane who was remade.
Kamado-san of the Kitchen: Arc 1 (Chapter 1)
Yugi Tsukasa disobeys his cousin’s orders as well as his mother’s to go and find a supernatural that he was told the rumor of by Yashiro Nene.
Upon finding Kou, he urges him to explain everything about himself but Kou is annoyed and asks him to ask for a wish or be trapped forever. Tsukasa does so, to which Kou asks for his help in ridding No.2 of the seven mysteries of her seat position.
Amane finds out Tsukasa left and rushes out to get to him before anything else can go wrong.
Misaki Stairs: Chapter 2-3
Tsukasa and Kou look through the Misaki stairs whilst Amane rushes to his brother’s aid.
Chapters go between POVS.
Chapter 2:
•we learn that Tsukasa and Amane can see supernaturals
•We are introduced to Aoi (girl)
•We learn the Akane-Yugis are related
Chapter 3:
•We learn of Yako’s past
•Tsukasa becomes Kou’s assistant
•Amane & Tsukasa’s distance is shown.
Mokke:
Tsukasa tries to catch a Mokke but is interrupted by Nene. Upon talking, Nene talks about another rumor and Tsukasa gets interested and tries to find the elusive faeries.
He’s almost ready to give up before finding a Mokke rushing off and chasing after it. That’s when he runs into the monster that it is and uses his wits to outsmart it. Once it dissolves back into mokke and tearfully explain what’s going on, Tsukasa quickly figures it out based on what happened with Yako (who he knows as the fox on the stairs but not as the actual mystery until recently) and promises to change their rumor if he gets to write about them in his dictionary.
Confession Tree:
There are couples. Everywhere.
Tsukasa only gains wind of this when he and Nene walk to school together and see Amane and Lemon. Soon, the whole school is being lovey dovey. Nene says it’s another rumor and that gets Tsukasa excited. He tries to find someone to confess to but everyone already has a girlfriend or boyfriend and he isn’t going to go after Nene since she likes Amane. He doesn’t really have anyone else to go for.
Sitting under a tree, he gets startled by Kou who asks him what he’s doing. Tsukasa laments and Kou gets a little close, asking him if just any confession would do and when he does confess, Tsukasa short circuits and laughs but that gets the confession tree out which grabs Tsukasa.
He does manage to save himself but Kou delivers the final blow. Kou complains about him being annoying and giving him too much work to do but Tsukasa says that it’s fine since Kou is supposed to be helping him fulfill his wish. Kou calls him a brat. Tsukasa only laughs.
Boy exorcist/bookstacks:
Mitsuba is asked by Aoi to give Tsukasa something and while trying to do so, keeps getting interrupted.
Tsukasa can sense that someone keeps wanting to talk to him but doesn’t know why. Nene asks him why he feels upset, to which Tsukasa tells her, which prompts the 4pm bookstacks rumor.
This is where Tsukasa and Mitsuba cross paths, right before Tsukasa leaves through the door that appears in the library. Mitsuba chases after him and they kind of “bond” before Mitsuba tries to defeat the large monster that almost grabs Tsukasa only for Tsukasa to save himself. Mitsuba still tries though but doesn’t really do much, which causes him to grab Tsukasa and run before Kou arrives to save them (albeit not without Tsukasa causing massive property damage)
Mitsuba is not doing great man. Freaking Kamado is here and then he finds out his sensei is a spider.
Sort of same canon explanation happens with some differences.
Tsukasa asks to write about Tsuchigomori after all is said and done.
•we learn a bit of Kou’s past
The Frog Prince:
Tsukasa compares Mitsuba to a mokke. He’s trying to sketch them.
One mokke drops something on him.
A bag of (?) that they explained was from Kou.
Mitsuba calls it “probably a curse” before leaving.
Tsukasa, curious, eats it and tries to go on with his business but passes out.
He wakes up as a frog, with Kamado glaring at him. Soon, the frog supernatural comes to take him as a bride to which Kou defends him from and shares the curse to turn him human again.
Young Exorcist:
Mitsuba doesn’t really like Kamado and tries to avoid him at all costs until he can’t that is, specifically when Kamado just appears in front of him.
He eventually learns that he’s trying to return lost things to their owners and begrudgingly helps after being goaded into it.
There he learns that Kamado might not be too bad only for Aoi to kind of ruin the moment for a little bit.
•we learn about Mitsuba’s past a little
•we learn about Kou’s past a little
Akane;
Mitsuba finds a ghost by the name of Akane. Akane is kind of an asshole who says that he might have one regret and that’s not being able to give his crush a gift for Christmas.
Mitsuba tries to help and Akane reveals his true feelings of regret but before they can give the gift away, Teru comes around and brutally twists Akane’s rumor. Mitsuba tries to help but he can’t really do much and can only watch in horror until Kou comes around.
Mitsuba develops his photos and sees the one he took of Akane which breaks him.
•we’re introduced to Akane
•Mitsuba becomes traumatized
•inverse of Mitsuba arc kinda (?)
Raspberry Pie:
Tsukasa has always wanted to know more about Kamado. He’s curious. He’s insatiable. He wants to know who he is.
He figures out his name and wants to know more.
Mitsuba finds him spacing out and asks what’s wrong. Tsukasa laments.
Tsukasa asks him why he’s wearing an apron and Mitsuba explains (after being prodded) so Tsukasa elects to help him.
They make raspberry pie and Aoi comes along. She gets confused about the pie, wondering when Mitsuba knew her favorite food before Mitsuba explains it’s for a friend and Tsukasa rushes off.
Kou finds him drawing on the roof and they talk before Teru comes along to kinda ruin it.
•we learn Mitsuba visits Akane’s grave for the first time. (Research needed)
Tea Party:
Tsukasa is pretty much abandoned. Kou is busy with things he doesn’t know of. Amane isn’t around. Mitsuba is sulking. And Nene is sick at home. He’s sulking where he usually sits when he gets turned into a frog.
Tea party is odd. Tsukasa’s bracelet is gone and he’s stuck. He instantly clocks Teru as being related to Kou and tries to ask him a bunch of questions but Teru deflects them all. Tsukasa is..easily distracted which makes it easier for Sakura to talk to him.
Eventually, however, Teru asks Sakura to make him go away which possibly happens similar to the manga. I’ll have to figure it out when I get there.
Anyway, Tsukasa is far too curious about all the doors he ends up around but as he’s checking (and being yanked away before he gets killed), Kou’s voice is heard over a radio. He laments about Tsukasa being too reckless but explains how to get home.
Tsukasa is just eager to find more supernaturals.
Eventually, however, he finds the door that leads to an alive Kou and gets curious only for Kou to run off and leave behind something that Tsukasa picks up.
Debate between Tsukasa finding his way out or Kou picking him up.
Clock Keepers:
Tsukasa walks to school with Nene before they separate ways only to come face to face with a destroyed classroom. Remembering the rumor she told him, he’s eager to find the supernatural himself, and ropes Mitsuba into it.
They don’t really know how to find it.
People are being turned old and things are rotting.
As they’re walking along the hall, Mitsuba and Tsukasa talk. Mitsuba laments about his broken camera and Tsukasa is annoyed that his sketchbook is no longer useable.
They hear a girl’s giggle just as the windows break behind them and then, Tsukasa’s class door opens to Nene worriedly checking on them.
Mitsuba is suspicious.
He drags Tsukasa away, though Tsukasa doesn’t exactly believe him, and they’re (read: Mitsuba) scared by Kou making himself known, wondering what’s going on. Mitsuba calls him a lame ass wonder for not keeping up to date and Kou refutes. When Mitsuba explains what’s going on, Kou is curious and asks to join their little search party.
Keeping tabs on Nene is a little easy.
She gardens.
She cooks.
She hangs out with Aoi and by extension, Amane.
On the last one, Kou asks who Amane is next to Aoi and Tsukasa happily explains whilst also explaining who Nene is to them. Kou seems curious and they follow Nene as she and Amane walk out with boxes to put into the auditorium. Kou decides to up the stakes a little, because the only way someone will use a secret power is for self defense and if she’s Amane’s childhood friend….
What they don’t expect is for Amane to be the clock keeper.
Tsukasa is all smiles and rainbows though Mitsuba wonders why he isn’t angry at the lying. Amane is more pissed that his baby brother is with a supernatural and Mitsuba didn’t even bother to tell him and Aoi.
So clearly he argues with them until Kou breaks it apart just as the chandelier falls and they have to scurry to the infirmary.
Amane demands to know what’s going on but Tsukasa asks him to explain first so Amane does (begrudgingly) and we learn how he became a clock keeper.
A little Hanakou argument happens before Mirai strikes again which gives Kou the full picture.
Clock keeper arc continues from there but Kou never asks Mitsuba to make sure Tsukasa isn’t grabbed by Mirai. He doesn’t really care since he knows Tsukasa’s lifespan is okay.
And then it happens and nothing is okay.
Reach out your hand + Hell of mirrors:
Tsukasa is looking through photos of the drama club with Mitsuba. Seeing a bunch of hands in them though wasn’t a very pleasant experience (for Mitsuba).
They appear again to tug on Mitsuba’s camera (scaring him in the process) and that ends up bringing forth a whole game to get them to pass away peacefully until the last one is the only one left.
Tsukasa comments that the recorder for this was pretty good which prompts Mitsuba to ask who it was and Tsukasa explains that he didn’t record this since he was sick but whoever did is probably on the last page.
Seeing Akane’s name was not pleasant.
And then, of course, Tsukasa is grabbed by the last hand and yanked inside the window. He does try to resist though, and Mitsuba is quick enough to grab him and pull him out, exorcising the arm in the process.
Tsukasa is curious though and leans closer to the mirror to see what’s going on.
As you guessed it, he gets dragged and Mitsuba is left with just his shoes.
With Tsukasa, he’s seen with Akane, who he doesn’t really know. Hell of Mirrors kinda go the same as canon here but a little different dialogue options and interactions that I don’t really want to expand on rn.
Star Festival:
Mitsuba is at Akane’s grave. He’s very upset lmao. Like, terribly upset.
Tsukasa wants to cheer him up but doesn’t know how. Kou is curious that he’s worried about him while Amane is annoyed. Nene tells him to invite Mitsuba to the star festival so Tsukasa does.
Kou is …jealous, though he doesn’t want to admit it.
Later, when Mitsuba and Tsukasa are walking to the station, a supernatural attacks and Mitsuba fends it off. Tsukasa explains his supernatural dictionary and Mitsuba makes a wish to himself that Tsukasa never finishes it.
He asks Tsukasa for a sleepover to which Tsukasa agrees.
Festival time arrives! Good things there’s Yukata wear in the drama club ;). Kou and Mitsuba go in first, because Tsukasa is still trying to find one. Kinda similar Canon premise just with different thoughts, characters, etc,
•Mitsuba wishes to make his friends happy
•Tsukasa wishes to finish his dictionary
•When Tsukasa gets yeeted into the past, he meets a young Kou who came to the festival with teru but teru left him. (Not of his own violation)
Searching;
Tsukasa doesn’t really search for Kou.
He is usually spending his time sketching in the garden or trying to find supernaturals. Recently, he’s been spending more time with Mitsuba (for some reason he’s unsure of.) but he wants to show off his dictionary and for some reason… Kou isn’t here.
So he searches.
He goes to the mokke first.
Then the confession tree.
Then the student council room.
Then Yako.
Finally ends up with Tsuchigomori who tells him where Kou might be. (Compete with Mitsuba promising to be there for him and Tsukasa being oblivious as hell)
He tries to annoy him but when Kou doesn’t respond as usual, Tsukasa gets concerned and attempts to figure out what the problem is….
Akane 2:
TBA
Picture Perfect;
Alright here’s the gist.
Tsukasa has a normal lifespan but was fast forwarded to the day of his suicide attempt which was supposed to be prevented (as is fate) by Amane who gets him to a hospital.
Because he’s neither in a hospital, nor did Mirai fast forward him to after everything was healed, he dies in Mitsuba’s arms doing clock keepers.
Seeing his corpse is just enough to push Kou into the territory of “I will do anything for you”, anything including but not limited to, trapping Tsukasa in a picture perfect world so he has no reason to die and so nothing can kill him.
This has consequences. Mainly the fact that Tsukasa realizes the world isn’t right because Amane is actually talking to him but he’s always wanted his brother to tell him everything so is this world being fake really the bad thing?
Mitsuba says it is. As much as he would love Akane alive, he doesn’t like the world for what it is, so he’s determined to do things himself if Tsukasa won’t budge.
That’s easier said than done.
Being asked to kill Akane terrifies him. What’s more is that Tsukasa might need to kill Kou. By the time he makes it back, the twins are getting ready to go have a sleepover where they’ll roast marshmallows by a campfire with everyone else. Amane goes ahead, leaving Tsukasa, Kou and Mitsuba only for Akane to come over, asking if the radio with tapes can be brought over and then he just immediately gets chased off by Mitsuba.
Tsukasa watches them go kinda curiously and now that it’s just him and Kou, reveals that he knows the world is a fake but he’s willing to go along with it if Kou does something for him.
(Insert whatever that is as they head off to the campfire)
Meanwhile, Mitsuba is finally getting to Akane.
I want to say Akane wishes to be a human and that’s why they fight over everything but I am a little skeptical on that since I’m not sure if it would still be different enough.
Everything else after those things are kind of still being workshopped.
So I've got this OC, Star, for a fic (that I will get back to eventually). Star is a clone of Steve Rogers. And sometimes I think about how it might go if Star met Mia and Co. It would be both chaotic and entertaining I think.
Star is technically twelve, but has only actually existed for two years. Most of those two years were spent in a Hydra compound, so she has massive knowledge gaps about the real world. She has killed people before. Her default expression is flat stare. She's aware that Steve thinks she shouldn't kill people, but she's iffy on why. She tried to stab him the first time they met. She definitely has trust issues. She's impulsive enough that she kidnapped her brother (a toddler aged clone of Steve) and ran away from Hydra. She has no frame of reference for what a normal childhood looks like, or what "normal" kids are supposed to act like. She doesn't really think of herself as a kid anyway.
All in all, Star would think Mia is the most normal, well adjusted person she's met since leaving the Hydra compound. Which likely says something about both of them lol.
Aww I love that - and I love child assassin characters <3 one of my favorite tropes if that wasn't already obvious smh
I'd say that Mia isn't a natural/normal with kids, if only because she's afraid of hurting them, and also the proclivity to teach them things their parents probably wouldn't approve of, so in that way I think she and Star would probably get along pretty well xD Would Steve be thrilled? Probably not but I think he'd recognize the dynamic smh
They do sound like two peas in a pod, and be a real pain in the ass for whoever tries to mess with them lmao
