I have a prompt for you! Steve or Eddie finding out that the other one collects something. Maybe it's weird or silly or just surprising. I feel like one or both of them secretly collect stuff.

Eddie collects things, lots of things, he's a collector. He collects rocks he likes, every trinket, key chain, necklace, or ring he finds with a shape of a lizard. He collects dice and zines, cassettes, you name it, he collects.

When Steve realizes this, he starts saving weird rocks he sees to give to him later. They don't really talk about it, Steve never says anything and he actually kind of doesn't notice he's doing it. But sometimes Eddie will get in his car and Steve will tap the headboard and say, "There's something for you there," and Eddie will open the compartment and find a metal pin with the shape of a lizard and grab it a hold it and look at Steve and Steve will shrug, like its nothing and Eddie will continue to stare at Steve for a few minutes while he drives, and he'll pin and long and love him in silence.

He asks him once if he collects anything, but Steve shakes his head no. No trophies, no love letters, no polaroids.

They are hanging out at Steve's one lazy sunday afternoon when he finds it. He was looking for a lighter, Steve had refused to move from where he's lying limbs stretched like a star on the floor of his bedroom and pointed somewhere over his desk when Eddie had asked for it.

He's rummaging through the desk and opens the second drawer, starts moving things around when suddenly Steve is right behind him,

"It's not there! There's nothing there." he yelps, trying to close the drawer, and Eddie laughs and looks closer at the contents, thinking he'll find Steve's porn stash and make him blush a little, but instead he finds a movie tkt, a receipt, a napkin, and other things that don't make a lot of sense until it does.

Because the ticket is from a movie they saw together, and the receipt is from when they went to Indianapolis and ate greasy burgers at a diner in the middle of nowhere, and the napkin is from The Hideout and there's a leaf carefully pressed with duck tape that he's sure is the one he once gave Steve, when they were walking through the forest, sharing a smoke. A leaf, just a silly little leaf, he had grabbed it off the floor because it was brown and speckled with yellows and greens and it reminded him of the color of Steve's eyes when the light hit them just right. He'd given it to Steve without a word and Steve had smiled and twirled it in front of his face and then he had completely forgotten about it and here it was, in a drawer in Steve's room, along with a whole lot of things, mementos, of them.

Eddie looks at Steve, who is standing just to the side of him, completely red in the face and with his hands suspended in the air, either to push Eddie away and close the drawer or hold them up as surrender, he doesn't know.

They look at each other, both searching for something, asking questions, seeking answers. They look at their eyes, roam their faces, and end up on each other's lips, and Eddie smiles, big, happy, and enamored, he slowly moves to face Steve properly, closing the drawer with his hip and holds Steve's face between his palms and Steve leans into the touch closing his eyes for second before going back to stare at Eddie, and shily, he smiles back.

And Eddie dives in and kisses the boy who gifts him weird rocks, lizard trinkets, and dice. The boy who collects mementos. The boy he loves.

I always scroll through fan art and usually something pops out. Like seeing Eddie turn into a bat is always fun to play around with. Or Steve just carrying Eddie around as if he's not a grown man.

--ok so i got this ask, and i accidentally deleted it and lost who send it, im sooo sorry, it was so lovely too, i feel like an idiot! I hope you get to see this one, whoever you are.

Eddie, literally coming back from the dead had been a very pleasant surprise for everyone, especially for Dustin. Eddie coming back on the wrong side of the fight not so much, especially for Dustin.

It's only a few days later after they found out, they've seen Eddie a couple of times, standing behind Vecna, paler, bloodier, sharper.

He hadn't talked to them, no matter how much Dustin had screamed his name and he had actually swiped one of his clawed hands at Steve when he tried getting nearer.

There's been a lull in the fight, everyone going home to regroup, clean up, and rest for a bit, Steve just got home after leaving a very distressed Dustin with his mom. He didn't want to leave him, but he really needed to clean up and sleep, it had been days.

After a hot shower, he puts on some boxers and an old shirt and falls on his bed, only to spring back up because there's something under his sheets.

He quickly scrambles and grabs the sheets lifting them up and finding a... bat? There's a bat sleeping on his bed. It's not huge, but it's not one of the small ones he's used to seeing either. It's got a round snout and it's kind of fluffy looking, cute even.

Whispering a very heartfelt 'What the fuck' Steve grabs the towel he was drying his hair with and wraps the bat carefully in it. He should've thought about it beforehand though because he ends up holding a towel-wrap burrito of a bat in his arms like a baby and has no idea what to do with it.

He should've opened the window or grabbed a box or something, he's looking around the room for something to help him when the bat stirs and Steve looks at it and the bat's eyes, the very big, chocolate brown bat's eyes, open huge and he 'meeps' cutely before a cloud of black and red smoke explodes out of nowhere and suddenly the weight in Steve's arms becomes much heavier and bigger and when the cloud dissipates he sees he's not holding a cute bat anymore, oh no, he's holding an Eddie, a very naked Eddie in his arm bridal style.

And Eddie's big brown eyes look at him and fill with tears, "Steve!" he says and he wraps his arms around Steve's neck and holds him close, "I'm so sorry I swapped at you! I had to pretend! I couldn't let him suspect! Oh god! Dustin! The look on his face!"

Steve doesn't even hesitate to hold him closer, lets Eddie bury his face in his neck, and sushes him as Eddie breathes him in, slowly calming down,

"Shh, it's okay, you are here now. I got you, we'll figure it out, I got you..."

First of all, love what you wrote for the Murray prompt. Second, I got another one if you want it. Steve's parents are really nice and cool and supportive of him, they are just very busy with work and he understands, but they find out Steve and Eddie are dating and Eddie is in a band so they show up to one of his shows to be supportive. Cue semi-embarissing parent moment they both secretly love

ok first, thank you! and thank you for sending these prompts, they are lovely and im having a wonderful time thinking of the scenarios. now lets get on with the show...

Steve always calls his parents once a week. His dad's job requires him to be abroad a lot and after a misunderstanding, a bad secretary, and his mom's very jealous, very fiery personality she started traveling with him, only for them to pleasantly discover she was actually very good at making connections and closing deals so it became a thing.

So yes, his parents are not there a lot but that doesn't mean they weren't there for Steve. They talk a lot over the phone, they tell him about the places they've seen, the cute clothes his mom bought for him, the way she embarrassed a sexist businessman in Spain by responding to him in perfect Spanish to a comment about her dress. They worry about him being alone in that big house and encourage him to have friends over all the time. They ask about work, they know everything about Robin and Dustin and the kids, had been very proud of him for babysitting, thinking it was about him wanting to have more of his own money.

His dad is a man of few words and very strict but he means well and his mother is a force to be reckoned with, loud, unapologetic, and loving.

She talks a lot and has a way of making Steve talk a lot too, to get things out of him. When he's not feeling well she can always tell and she always makes him talk through his feelings. Which is why, his parents know about Steve's crush.

So when they come home for a weekend in the summer, and after he cooks dinner for them, he says he's going out for a bit,

"There's a show at The Hideout, Eddie's band is playing, is it okay if I go?" he asks. He usually stays with them the whole time they are back in town since they don't see each other a lot, but he figures they'll understand this one time.

"Of course amor, but don't stay up too late, you said you'd go trekking with me in the morning," his mom answers, so he smiles at them and, then he's off.

He goes, meets with Nancy and Robin there, listens to Corroded Coffin, and sighs enchanted as if he was hearing ballads instead of heavy metal. The band spots them and they wave and smile, Eddie winks at him making him blush and he has a great time.

Except halfway through the show, he notices people moving out of the way and hears murmurs so he looks and- jesus fuck is that his mother?!

And yes, of course it's her, Marina Harrington's hair only rivals his own, it's noticeable everywhere. The tight red dress isn't helping either and his fucking father, in a suit, hovering behind her and glaring at people who stare at her isn't helping either. He quickly goes other to them, and he walks- he does not stomp like his mother tells him he did later. And asks,

"Mom! Dad! What the- What are you doing here!?"

"Esteban! Well, we wanted to meet that boy you like, you said his band was playing?" his mom tells him excitedly.

"Is this them?" Richard asks, looking like he's smelling something awful.

"Oh don't be mean Dick! It's not that bad!" Marina says but then flinches at a particularly loud yell from Jeff and Richard hums and smiles at her, pulling her close.

"Okay no, sweety this is horrible," she says chuckling and leaning closer to her husband.

Steve snorts, "I like it, just because it's not what we usually listen to, doesn't mean it's bad," he says defensibly. Marina smiles at him and lifts her hand to touch his hair but he slaps her away,

"I think you have heart ears," she says and Richard nods and then lifts his shoulders like he's trying to hide his head inside his body so he doesn't have to listen to them anymore.

"Ok, no. You guys need to leave, you are attracting so much attention!" Steve whines and his mom is talking about 'nonsense' and 'lets get closer' when Nancy and Robin show up behind him,

"Mr and Ms Harrington! It's good to see you! what are you doing here?" Nancy asks, probably worried, she must think there's no way they'd be here unless something bad was happening. Steve groans and pinches his nose.

Richard nods at her politely, "Ms Wheeler" And Marina purses her lips, refusing to acknowledge her, and looks over her shoulder, and that's when she spots Robin and lets out a delighted little 'oh!'

"You must be Robin! Oh hi, darling, we've heard so much about you!" she squeals at her and hugs her.

Robin stands completely frozen for a second before slapping her back awkwardly, "Uhm hiii, Ms Harrington"

His mom and Robin talking is actually kind of scary Steve thinks while he puts a hand on Nancy's shoulder, "Sorry" he says regarding his mom, who never forgave Nancy for breaking Steve's heart, even if Steve did. Nancy smiles at him and shakes her head, then shrugs.

"Ah!" Richard says then, and Marina and Robin stop their chatting to look at him,

"Riqui?" Marina wonders looking at where his dad is pointing at the stage now,

"I know which one is Eddie" he says smirking, and stage-whispers in her ear, "Long curly hair, big dark eyes"

Marina's eyes light up and actually jumps up and down in her place, "Oh, of course! It's so obvious now! Ay Esteban, es lindo!"

Nancy and Robin giggle and Steve hides his face in his hands and groans.

"Guys, please. Leave. If you wanted to meet him you should've said something I would've-"

"Oh please, don't lie to me jovencito! You've never brought him home to meet us," Marina interrupts him.

Steve sighs and nods, "Yeah you are right" and then looks at his dad, like he can reason with him, "But I will tomorrow, if you leave now?" he begs.

And he's about to answer when Eddie taps the mic and talks, "Hey so, this next song is a little different from our usual but it's a good one, and I would like to dedicate it to someone very special to m- us" he says and then his eyes find Steve and Steve gasps and his dad hums and his mom squeals, it's all very confusing.

Eddie is blushing and looking intently at him, smiling when he notices Steve gasp, knowing he understood he was talking about him. The first notes of Dancing in The Dark start playing and Steve realizes, this is a confession. The thing he was waiting for, hoping for, dreaming of... finally. He gives Eddie a big smile back and bites his lips excitedly.

But then Eddie's eyes drift over Steve and go huge when he notices the couple standing behind him. Fuck, right...his parents are here. Eddie's mouth opens in an 'o' shape and stays like that for a second and then he blinks, smirks mischievously, and shakes the hair out of his eyes,

"This one goes to that lovely couple in the back!" he yells, waving back at Marina who is waving at the band excitedly, and then he starts singing.

If you're looking for Steddie prompts, I've been dying for a fic where Murry does his whole thing trying to get Steddie together, but Steve just gets pissed off at home for sticking his nose where it doesn't belong so he goes off on Murray. Your choice of Steve and Eddie are already together or not, bonus points of he brings up Murray encouraging Nancy to sleep when Johnathan before they broke up

... the room is silent, deadly silent.

Nancy is hiding her face in her hands, Jon just- got up and left the room murmuring "Not this again"

Eddie's legs are shaking so much he's practically vibrating and he's looking at where Jon just disappeared like he wants to follow.

And Steve, Steve is glaring at Murray because they had come to see him about some information they needed, and the man, after a few minutes had just come out and, unprompted, out of nowhere and so out of place, said:

"The tension between these two is worse than what you guys had before, uh?" And had pointed at him and Eddie.

And he wants to actually get up and punch the man in his smug face but, unfortunately, they do need his help right now so Steve just takes a deep breath and moves his hand on top of Eddie's knee, squeezes it once to calm him down and slowly and purposely moves it higher up his thigh, palms wide to encompass as much as he can while still glaring at Murray and says,

"You are a sad, creepy, and meddling old man, you know that?" he spits at him and moves a little bit closer to Eddie, "And there's no tension between us. None."

To his credit, Murray smirks and nods at Steve like he agrees with him. And the conversation continues as if nothing happened.

But inside Steve is freaking out because his hand is still on Eddie's thigh and he can feel the heat coming out of him, he is sitting so close and Eddie is kind of melting beside him and shit guess they need to talk about this, uh?

For your headcannon/prompt thingy:

How about something silly like the party having a burp off🤔 or if you find that disgusting maybe Steve and Eddie having some real cheesy romantic evening to finally get their shit together and one of them panics and pulls a Han Solo

They are hanging at Eddie's new place, on the porch, because the night is beautiful and he has a porch now, excuuuse him.

Drinking bears and just chilling, talking about nothing, about everything.

And then, in a lull in the conversation, Nancy burps, a small little thing and chuckles and covers her mouth with her hand and says, "Excuse me"

Robin finds it hilarious and starts laughing and says something about, 'burping like a little princess' and Argyle sits straighter on the steps where he was just lounging and says, "No Nance, like this" and lets out a big one.

Everyone laughs and Jon says, "Weak,"

"What, you think you can do better?" Eddie encourages him and Steve shakes his head at them, "You guys are gross"

Robin, who was gulping little breaths of air, turns to him and actually talks while burping,

"Partypooper" she calls him and he looks both disgusted and impressed by her before laughing with the rest of them.

Jon lifts his hand like he's about to talk to the class and burps too, longer than Argyle's but not as loud.

"Not bad," Argyle says and Nancy, who had been red in the face since the whole thing started nods approvingly.

"Amateurs," Eddie says, and then it's his turn. It's loud, impossible to ignore, and over the top, just like Eddie.

Robin and Nancy clap politely and laugh and Jon and Argyle high-five him.

'Silly kids' Steve thinks, he was in not one, but three sports teams in high school, he had parties every week, he was the motherfucking keg king for god's sake.

He waits for them to stop laughing and then he burps. It's impressive. Long and so loud it fucking echoes, can be heard once or twice more as the sound bumps into the night.

They all immediately turn and look at him shocked and then they are cackling, Robin is hugging her stomach and complaining that it hurts, Argyle is whipping tears off his eyes and Nancy is shaking her head at him amused but looks weirdly proud and Eddie, still laughing blurts,

"Oh my god! That was the best! You are the best man, i love you!"

Wait. What?
