Last night I had the hayfever attack from hell, which is weird because it was pouring rain after a week of dry weather, plus grass pollen should be almost done with, plus I'm on medication which generally works. And I had the windows wide open all week with no problems. I had the feeling I actually had some pollen or *something* lodged somewhere up my nose, irritating the hell out of it; don't know if that's even possible. Fell asleep at six and woke up at nine. Suboptimal.
Anyway, hope it was a one time thing because I have to leave the house in 10 minutes. Will wear FFP2 right from the start to be double safe.
eta: the more I think about it the more likely I find it that I inhaled a hair of the oak processionary moth. Those critters are allergenic enough to trigger an attack like this, and it did feel like there was a tiny hair in the back of my nose.
