The teen gave his mother an identical grin to his father’s as he shrugged. “Had to be used, momma. I can’t help it.” He told her, trying to give her a charming grin. The one his father always gave seemed to get him out of trouble but maybe this would help. “I figured if the toaster can toast the bread, why couldn’t the waffle iron?”

i feel so empty and sad all the time and doing things makes me tired and not any less sad so i don't do things like my homework or my chores because then i'm still tired and sad

and the only things that make me happy are reading and eating and watching movies but my mom yells at me when i do any of those things so i don't feel happy ever

and i just want to be happy

and i never can be

so i'm sad all the time
