#i hate qt

anyone on nixos having a horrible day today with literally every qt program being broken? every program that i try to run that's based on qt is throwing a sigbus misaligned address error. i have literally no idea why, but it only started after updating my flake earlier

I just realized that the way some people feel about Joss Whedon is how I feel about Quentin Tarantino.  Yes, they can tell a good complex story and have an eye for aesthetics in that both of them have very distinct styles.  

But their talent (YMMV) is completely overshadowed by how they pat themselves on the back for writing "strong" female characters or portraying race relations even though they do it in extremely problematic ways.  And then because they have achieved cult status their stans fucking throw cookies at them.
