Hiii!

I’ve been a bit absent for a few days, so I’m here to give you a brief summary of what’s happened. First of all, I hope you’re all doing well, and if not, you can always talk to me.

I haven’t posted any content in several days because I’ve been traveling to Madrid to meet my boyfriend (Eunseok) and see RIIZE at the Music Bank! Despite the rain and cold, I had a great time! They’re really good-looking in person, I swear. PLUS, THEY DANCED “GET A GUITAR!!!” which is my favorite song. But they seemed too serious, and I was really confused seeing them; I didn’t understand why. Even though we all shouted “Riize is 7” together, they didn’t show any reaction, and while I enjoyed their performance, I feel like they weren’t very energized.

On Friday, I was so happy that Seunghan returned, and Wonbin’s post defending him made me really happy too. I don’t understand what could have happened. I know I probably shouldn’t say this, but I can’t stand the Korean and Chinese fans. I feel like they are too harsh on Seunghan and treat him like he’s the worst person in the world when he hasn’t done anything wrong. And in the end, he had to resort to this. In my opinion, I still can’t accept it, and with all the movement happening, I hope something can change. It feels like a really difficult situation because the fandom is currently divided in two, and one side isn’t going to get what it wants.

I haven’t even been able to cry yet because I simply don’t understand the situation. I don’t get why something like this has to happen to them and why part of their fandom is so harsh on them. I just want to hug them and tell them that it’s not their fault.

I have some works ready to post, so I guess I’ll be back soon. If I seem a bit more out of it, it’s because of all this situation, but maybe writing helps me not think about it.

i know nobody cares what i specifically have to say about the riize and seunghan situation, but i feel like it’s important to voice my opinion anyways. i find it completely disgusting how sm allows knetz to bully them into listening to their every demand. i find it very disappointing that they announced his return and then allowed knetz to bully him into leaving. 

many kpop companies, but SM especially, have no backbone and fall short when it comes to protecting their idols. think about jonghyun and sulli, who both faced immense amounts of pressure and bullying from knetz. it’s disgusting that, given their history, they don’t do more to protect their idols and the mental health of all their employees. 

seunghan’s return from hiatus was super important, and it was possible that it would have at least slightly changed the industry as a whole. by not bending to the opinions of knetz, SM would have set the precedent that idols are people who are allowed to make mistakes and that knetz do not own these idols. by bringing him back and then having him leave again, this just shows knetz that they can even bully huge companies into doing what they want

so many idols suffer due to the abuse and bullying they face from knetz. if they even make a small mistake, they are subjected to constant bullying and harassment from these ‘fans.’

this was poorly worded and just a super quick way to get my thoughts out, but overall SM is a horrible company who supports delusional knetz who think that they own these kpop idols.
