Hey babe (in a lesbo way) how do you cook beetroot to make it not taste like dirt? It's it just the heat or do you add a special lil smthn. Or do you power thru the dirt taste . Thanks.

whaaat what kind of beetroot are you buying that it tastes like dirt?? you can cook it in many ways, but my favorite is roasted. I just peel them, clean them with water, slice them, and coat them in salt and cumin (or whatever spice you have tbh, I think garlic powder would work great). Then you grease a pan and into the oven for around 15 minutes each side. You can boil/steam them, with potatoes and mayo you have a nice creamy salad. Since they're super sweet, you can also make deserts with them, like cake or mousse <3

i just had beetroot soup that had honey, mint, yogurt, pomegranate and lots of spices in it and i feel like a Better Person :^))

Why on earth did I get so emotional watching that episode of Three in a Bed? Joyce was so cute, I wanted to cuddle her and oh my gosh BOTH COUPLES OVER PAID. 130% OF THE BILL. IN SKEGNESS. BRILLIANT. IT WAS SO EXCITING!  Maybe it was because I just ate a lot of beetroot. Man, beets are just to tasty but my fingertips are oh-so purple now. Trying to have a vegetarian day today. Also avoiding all chocolate and snackage to prove to myself that I can do it an student living/eating will not be as big a challenge as I am making it in my head. I'm going to go back to writing letters and probably messing around at the piano again :)
