SAME like i didnt drink in high school and then this past summer SOOO MANY ADULTS kept shoving alcohol at me like “you’re going to college! it’s time!” last weekend i called my mom still drunk and she was like “aww i hope you had fun!” i dont get it

yeaaah whenever i drank in high school i would get so nervous making up excuses/thinking my parents would somehow find out and KILL ME but now it's just like "what's your favorite drink?" "want some wine with dinner?" "we bought too much beer and can't take it back on the plane, you can have it." it's like....what magical shift do you think happened when i graduated high school??
