Majima is from where..?
I've been playing through the whole Yakuza/Like a Dragon series and writing a couple fanfics along the way (as one does), and I've gotten curious about something. Kiryu's originally from Yokohama, Kanagawa and I'm pretty sure Saejima is from Kamurocho (or at least from the general Tokyo area). So then, where is Majima from? I don't think it's ever been stated (from my very limited research).
Now I do like to theorise and after doing a not so serious deep dive, I ended up really liking the idea that he's from the Ibaraki prefecture. Specifically from Chikusei and to get even more specific, Kyowa.
My reasoning is kinda silly: I wanted to keep him in the Kanto region, I like the idea that he's not from a huge city and is instead from some small farming family, it works well with my growing headcannon for his backstory and finally... MELONS, because apparently Kyowa produces a ton of them. Haha memes!
