hi!! this might be completely off base but i was wondering if you’re an ethel cain fan? i recently finished your fic starmaker (which was amazing, i just binged all of your vip fics and i’m somehow in love with all of them) and the entire time i was reading it i was like oh this has ethel cain written all over it but i was curious to know if this was an intentional inspiration or just a coincidence. also you’re kinda the reason i got sucked into vianca and i just hope you understand how much sleep and sanity you’ve made me lose over this ship <3

ooh this is coincidence but i love when people mention that my writing reminds them of a musical artist or the works of another author -- usually because that turns into a hyper-targeted and excellent media recommendation for me to go explore. i have listened to a few of her songs offhandedly so i'm not unfamiliar with her work, but i've not listened to any of her albums in full yet. i'm changing that as we speak and having a fantastic time with it. a new discography to sink into for me! what an absolute treat!
