Talking About My Kirby Fan Series (again)...
Hello again Tumblr!!! Don't mind me as I yap about my silly projects again :D
So upon starting the Kirby fan series, I hadn't known much about the lore and stuff. So I was relying mostly on my co-writers to handle that bit for me, and correct me on things that may be inaccurate.
..and then I LEARNED. And it changed EVERYTHING.
How foolishly lazy of me to not bother before...
THE ORIGINAL IDEA:
I originally wanted the series to be just goofy little adventures, like "What are the silly goobers doing when they're NOT killing gods?" But then I slowly realized, especially after already having to write a character out of the series due to lack of an avatar we could use (we record all these in VRChat), that that wouldn't work. I'm not going to spoil anything by immediately revealing what character I'm talking about, all I will say from here about that is it's going to introduce some INTERESTING plot points... especially with a certain essentially confirmed dynamic...
SPEAKING OF CHARACTER DYNAMICS
CHARACTER DYNAMICS:
OH BOY WHERE DO I EVEN BEGIN WITH THIS??? THEY'RE ALL SO SILLY!!!! I will reveal two characters that will be included in this series so I can yap about their specific dynamic. Meta Knight and Magolor. Their dynamic is REALLY fucking funny. It is immediately revealed within the first minute of EP1 that Meta Knight is still INCREDIBLY distrusting in Magolor (reasonably so lmao), despite how long it's been since the events of Return To Dreamland, and Magolor's clear change of heart since then (OH DON'T YOU WORRY THOUGH HE'S STILL A TRICKY LITTLE MAGIC BOI). OH THE SCENES THAT WILL SPARK BECAUSE OF THIS.
And then the times that he's RIGHT that he's up to something... it's very often the case that Magolor is being a goofy lil guy and pulling some kind of dumb joke. It's so funny once you realize. Because he WILL slip up a few times and you'll be like "oh Magolor you sneaky egg...", but it's all in good fun!!! I think we are lucky that Magolor had his redemption arc and no longer has ill intent!! (and so is he... so is he...)
OH AND BANDANA DEE BEING LIKE "nono I trust!" AND THEN META KNIGHT BEING LIKE "..What did I say?" AFTERWARDS!!! Maybe one day Bandee will learn... not yet tho.. (King Dedede in the back trying not to laugh at them.. he cannot hold in his laughter, it is just too funny!! Too silly and goofy!! King Dedede is a goofus and I will make sure that is made VERY clear.)
What's Kirby doing during all this shenanigans amongst his friends? Well, you'll just have to watch the series when it comes out and see for yourself!!!! After all, he is the name of the franchise! So telling what he's up to may be spoiler-y!!!
WHERE WE'RE AT NOW:
OH GOD OH FUCK OH NO OH WHY WTF (essentially EP5 in a nutshell.. there will be foreshadowing!! Remember what I said earlier about a character!! he WILL be technically "introduced" briefly beforehand! and seen in the background!!) I am giggling about this as I'm writing. I am shaking with excitement about it.
