EDIT: So this has circulated to some TERF spaces and the reading comprehension is as expected, so for clarification: if you do not relate to this art, then it is not for you. This is not “oh, you would rather people kill themselves than detransition!!” No. It’s not. You should get the gold medal for mental gymnastics tho.
I want trans folks to survive. Trans existence brings me pure exhalation. Anti trans legislation is forcing people to detransition, either by making it medically impossible or making the world so hostile that they will detransition for safety. There is no shame in detransitioning. If it was for safety, then thank you for surviving another day. If it was because you realized that you aligned more with the gender you were assigned at birth, then I am proud of you for finding what works best for you.
Detransition is not an option for me. If I am going to die, then I’ll die as my authentic self. I have no plans on killing myself. If the cowards and bigots in power want me to die, then they will have to do it themselves because I’m not doing them any favors. Trans rights are human rights!
