Upset my husband today

So for years and years and years we have referred to energy drinks as 'menergy', courtesy of that one fucking Powerthirst vid that was apparently seen during the formative years of our lives, since it still holds us hostage now.

And hubs was like "man, did you ever think our lives would be controlled by a meme from 10years ago?"

And I had to tell him "you mean like.. 20 years ago."

And he just paused in the middle of the aisle and stared at me like I told him cats weren't cute.

Absolutely.

Scandalised.

Then he shook his head, not believing me.

"No its true. We are both in our 30s now, right? And we saw that back in like... early high-school. So somewhere between 13-15. Thats almost 20 years ago."

"... I don't like that."
