Beyond evil as a series has so many memorable, iconic, insane and unhinged scenes but nothing, NOTHING will make me go fucking insane as this scene:

It's pretty inconsequential in the grand scheme of things, if it was cut we wouldn't be losing this grand emotional or plot important scene but they deemed it necessary for us to see this part of dongsik and juwon. They thought it necessary for us to see juwon see dongsik like this, barefoot in the rain holding an umbrella for a lost kid, smiling (i think one of his honest smiles) while a sliver of sun hits dongsik. And in that moment everything, even the rain fades into backround for juwon; there is only dongsik.

I have so many thought about this scene, about how it humanizes dongsik, about how much juwons perspective colors our view of dongsik, about the romantic tropes parallels you could draw here, how it's in only the second episode and in grand scheme of things it didn't make sense to me for it to be there. I don't even know what i wanted to say with this post, just that this scene make me FUCKING INSANE!!!
