Long time no practice update!

Main two reasons are I caught covid again (but had just had my booster, so way less of a hit this time - my fatigue has been very unpredictable since though), and also I STILL haven't started my second prac attempt yet, but in the lead-up discussion I was told I might end up doing my minor, so I put some music practice on hold for a bit.

BUT! I have basically lost all my vocal projection because I haven't been using the muscles (haven't had a singing lesson in a year, and sang quiet in choir), so I've picked up my trumpet to try and build them back up again. Both in preparation for returning to singing lessons, and so I can be heard from the back of the classroom when I finally go on prac again.

Also trumpet is great fun, even as a beginner.

So.

Yesterday, about 10 mins of practice, went very well.

Today: about 20 mins of farting noises.

I can only assuming my muscles haven't recovered from yesterday, because I warmed up the same way. But very frustrating! Let's see if the trend continues tomorrow, or if I can produce a decent sound to match Tuesday.

As for everything else, not prioritising music has been awful, so prac be damned - I'm gonna work most things back into my routine again, even if it's paired down. I've been sick so many times this year, it's not like my practice has been consistent anyway lol.

We know I’m a guitarist, but I don’t tend to upload my own performances on here since all I’ve really been doing are covers of preexisting songs playing mostly for myself, and I didn’t even know where to begin (still can’t write lyrics to save my life)

But I think I’ve figured out how to write my own songs and I’m hoping I can download some software to put it together and upload it

So first things first I have to teach myself how to even begin creating songs so if any of y’all know what software is best for beginners I would greatly appreciate it
