Do people generally like the honorifics included into translations? I kinda lean towards "localizing" things to be more consistent with the official material (obviously things like "Coalescence" and "Master Detective" are called something different in Japanese, but even something as inconsequential as a word that I probably would have preferred to translate as "apprentice" just because it sounds cooler I've put as "trainee" instead because I'm pretty sure that's the word the English version of the game uses), because I notice that I personally feel a bit of disconnect when I'm reading a fan translation and they use literal or different words than that of ones that are consistently used in the official localizations.
However, I figure that honorifics in particular do add some worthwhile context. I'm pretty curious what other people think though.
