I'm gonna get a lot of shit for this, but I feel it needs to be said. A few weeks ago or so I asked for mchanzo fic recs. Now, I received responses, but the response that bothered me was the one claiming that Hang The Fool is the only good one. Now, I can't just allow that. People are acting like it's the end all be all of mchanzo fics, and that's just not the case. Now, while it is a good fic, it's not the only good one out there. Saying that it is discourages not only myself from writing a fic, but others, too. Hell, it even sends the message to people who have already written a fic for the fandom that their fic just isn't good or worth reading, and that's not good at all. So. I guess all I'm saying is that people need to give these other writers some love, too, because there are a lot going under the radar.
