Heads Up Seven Up
I was tagged by @i-am-cloud-writes thanks!!! Haven’t done any writing tag games in a long time, this should be fun!
rules: post the last seven sentences of the last WIP you’ve worked on and tag seven more people to keep the challenge going!
I don’t have much coherently written of this story, it’s mostly just snippets in a notebook that I keep in my purse lol. Hope you like it!
Around the corner appeared a teenager that could have been around Katsuki’s age, but the guess was made more difficult than it should have been with how white their hair was and how deep the circles under their eyes were.
They were using a crutch to stubbornly hobble down the hall as quickly as possible despite the obviously new limp in their stride, a feat made all the more impressive considering the young girl clinging comically to their stronger leg like a limpet.
Mitsuki couldn’t help a small sound of confused disapproval; the girl was small, but still looked rather heavy in the moments the teen paused to readjust the cane and limp another step forward. But going by the teen’s placid expression, this wasn’t exactly a new occurrence.
What Mitsuki honestly found even more impressive than their steady pace was the frankly saint-like patience it probably took to keep moving forward while both disabled and weighed down by a child chanting “Holiday! Holiday!” for some reason without so much as batting an eye.
‘Ah, the joys of being the older sibling,’ Mitsuki thought with an inward snort as they passed her by. She certainly didn’t envy them; she still had no idea how Masaru had grown up with three siblings without murdering them all and stuffing their bodies under a bridge.
I’ll tag @valasania-the-pale and uhhhhh @the-kiwi-is-not-a-pewee I guess. I’m terrible at remembering who among my followers/friends are actually writers lmao. Feel free to participate if you have a WIP you’d like to share!!!
