hello ladies

so as many of you may know my home studio( which i affectionately call “studio porch” ) has been unused for a while because my brother had a lung infection and that caused a huge problem, anyway, i’m going to start carving again very soon so after i finish my last custom build i’ll be ready to take on a new commission or two.

hope you all have a great rest of the day.

my local tobacconist asked me to select a few blends so naturally i went with dunhill night cap and a few other of dunhill’s fabulous blends.

dear rude anon, Femme is a lifestyle, femme is a way of rejecting the institutionalized misogyny we all face as women otherwise known as the patriarchy, femme is not just for lesbians, i'm not sorry to announce that i'm also a femme trans-woman , anyone can be femme. i realize you will disagree. in fact i welcome you to my blog so that we may have our own chat about this on our own. femme is the weapon of choice of myself and others to crush our oppression.

i agree with most of what you say. this is not exactly what femme means to me. but you know what? you rule. you know what is more important to me than fighting over other queer / trans women defining ‘femme’ slightly differently than me? literally anything. healthcare, the lousy standards of care for trans women, street harassment, fear of getting bashed, homelessness among queer youth, annoyance over being harassed by a hate group of haters-born-haters… you get the idea. who on earth jumps down the throats of other queer women for ‘appropriating’ femme?

Claire: Well, I meant somewhere on vacation…

Brenna: Who the fuck goes to a deserted island on vacation? Just going to go to somewhere with bleached bones drinking out of turtle shells on the shore? No. You go somewhere on the fucking map.

Claire: Well, I mean desert island. Like, just hot.

Brenna: Why would I go somewhere hot? I hate heat. I hate Florida. Why would I go somewhere hot?

Claire: Well, you could go to the Gobi desert then. It's cold there.

Brenna: But that's not an island.

Claire: Okay, okay, okay, so how about you just have to go someplace for like two days?

Brenna: Can I leave?

Claire: After two days are up.
