CLOSED STARTER FOR: @albaughs !
PALO WOULD ABSOLUTELY RESENT admitting it, but she has had better moments. she had stormed out of the tour van mostly running on pure anger rather than any real intelligent thought, thinking only of getting the fuck out of there before her feelings were hurt any more than they already had been. because yes, as much as palo loathed to display it, she did have feelings that extended passed anger and cool indifference. and she seemed to be experiencing every possible negative emotion she was capable of tonight. so, of course, palo’s solution was to get herself an uber and go to a hotel before she did something ridiculous like cry. but it was rather hard when her phone seemed to be continuously vibrating with calls from a certain someone who couldn’t seem to give up. again, palo would hate to admit it but... eventually she gave up. which is exactly why she’s in a twenty four hour mcdonalds right now, shivering from the cold as she glares at kit like it’s her job. granted, in this state palo knows that her glare probably doesn’t have nearly as much weight as she’d like it to, but she tries not to think to hard about that. it’ll probably only upset her more.
“well?” palo says firmly then, brow arching at kit as she gestures to all of herself. “here i am, and as you can see i’m perfectly fine. just waiting for my uber here because--” palo throws her hands up in frustration, “it was the only place that i could find that was open and in walking distance from the tour bus. so.” palo’s fiercely ignores the way her voice cracks on the last word. honestly, she’d rather die than acknowledge it at all, swallowing firmly and making a point to tuck her hair behind her ear as she quietly and honestly shakily finishes, “...you didn’t need to come.”
