The next chapter is technically complete and fully edited, but I'm gonna wait and read over it again cuz the second half of it feels... idk, not exactly clunky? I use a few words way too much so it's repetitive and drawn out when it could be way smoother. SO gonna do that before moving on to writing chapter 10!
Okay so I'm even more excited about writing the Dressrosa arc in i.s.h. than I was before cuz I thought of a fantastic wrench to throw into the plot. It won't make the fic any longer than initially planned but it WILL expand more on Ace's relationship with Deuce and how no matter what happens ACE IS GONNA LOVE DEUCE DESPITE ANY OBSTACLE.
I SWEAR it's gonna be a funny plot bunny, or maybe bittersweet is a better word, but look I'm just gonna promise they won't be separated at all during the arc, and I know I'm being hella vague but I don't want to spoil it, just know I'm SO EXCITED to write it!
I love your story and Izo is going to be so conflicted about Sabo and Ace and its going to be amazing. Because I just realized that Izo can't tell Ace about Sabo or Ace will reveal himself early to find him which is a big nono. And Izo can't tell Sabo about Ace living because its supposed to be a secret, among other reasons. Its just going be delicious angst and I can't wait.
It would put both of them in danger if Izo told either of them the other was still alive, and Izo knows this 😔 and he cares about them both so wants to protect them. I have one twist I'm going to throw into it to make it waaay sadder and angstier, but that's a spoiler so I can't reveal it yet 🥰
I still have like one or two chapters to write in I.S.H. before I can write the alternate chapter in Izo's POV (where I get to write Sabo the first time), but I want to write that Sabo chapter like... right now. I miss my boy 🥺
