A gust of chill wind caused Ariana to shudder and with it came a memory. Another mountain in the homelands, stuck in a perpetual winter. Its cold air rolled down the cliffsides like the heavy breath of an ice pokemon. Few dared to challenge the mountain, and those who did would face the famed challenger, The Champion.
Ariana dreaded running into Red when she fled Johto. She was at her weakest then, and would have posed little threat to the lad that defeated Giovanni.
She had never come face-to-face with him and she never planned to. That cold wind was a reminder that even Rocket had people they had to fear.
